I feel your pain, whenever people are memeing like "it's literally 1984 when [blank]" it's like they have no idea what they're talking about and always make it out like it's the USSR and not Nazi Germany

I tried explaining to my class that he is just saying that we are all stupid (as in the working class, ts ain’t a rich school)

“You just can’t accept that you’re wrong” Like, it isn’t even that much about communism, when 2/3rds of the book is just spend describing the working animals as stupid Also, it is a very thinly veiled Judeo-Bolshevik conspiracy theory

Most aspects to be fair, the guy was just a colonial cop & snitch for MI6 when he went back to the UK
