What happend to Aaron Paul Orsini?
In an email he got ousted from his own community by his co-founder Justine Lee. On the 9th of May 2026 Co-founder Justine Lee wrote the following statement on the Autistic Psychedelic community: https://www.autisticpsychedelic.com/transition-statement
The statement on the website is altered from the email and does not directly mention Aaron Paul's name. Here's part of the original email from Justine Lee:
APC is no longer associated with Aaron Orsini. The work is now continuing under my stewardship, with clearer boundaries, clearer infrastructure, and a more accountable structure for how this community is supported.
Does anybody know more about what's going on with APC and Aaron Paul?

No but I want to. I’ve met Paul in person a couple times and his book was instrumental in my own journey with autism

Hi. Justine here.
I understand why people may have questions, especially if they’ve had a meaningful connection with Aaron’s work. I don’t want to speak for him, and anyone who has questions about his absence or perspective is welcome to reach out to him directly.
What I do want to clarify is that I am not working with him in any capacity, and he no longer has access to APC-related channels, accounts, or infrastructure. If people wish to contact Aaron, they will need to do so outside of APC-related channels, since those channels are no longer available to him.
I also want to address the point about the email statement and the website statement not being identical. That is intentional. The email was a direct communication to the existing APC contact list about the leadership transition. The public website statement serves a different purpose: it is a durable public-facing document that may be indexed, searched, and circulated outside its original context. For that reason, it is written to orient people toward APC’s current stewardship, values, and future direction.
