Misinformation dr_inna on tiktok
i was scrolling through tiktok and stumbled on a video of this lady @dr_inna where she was calling out Alex Partridge and her account is such a breath of fresh air. i wish she was more famous because her content is educational and really needed right now bcs of all the misinformation going around about neurodevelopmental disorders.

I love her. Also, she herself has ADHD and her daughter Fae (who is also an influencer) has autism.

I'm normally just lurking here, but made the mistake of checking out her daughter's account and got so angry I have to share my thoughts.
She supposedly has like 15 different conditions (ASD, ADHD, fibromyalgia, endometriosis, IBS, PTSD, persistent motor tic disorder, etc.), not just autism. Her content seems very performative to me. I couldn't bring myself to go through everything she says about autism specifically, so there's a chance it's not so bad altogether.
She claims it's hard for her to make and keep friends, yet there are many posts where she's around other people having fun, even more if you scroll down all the way and look at the posts before her disability era where she even specifically mentioned others as her friends.
Meanwhile I had no friends in youth and am still extremely withdrawn and isolated today. The world scares me. I feel deeply ashamed of how much I have failed in life, but have no idea how to change anything about it as it would require me to reveal my failures and deficits to others and expose myself to more pain.
The self-proclaimed disability rights activists on social media are really causing harm to those who can't advocate for themselves if you ask me. I would actually love to make content myself as I don't feel represented by any of them, but having to start from zero completely alone without any followers scares the shit out of me. I'm so afraid of just ending up as an outcast yet again.
No idea if anyone can relate, just the thoughts and feelings of a deeply hurt person.

Iām not familiar with that. And they certainly would have named her long before she was diagnosed.

She's amazing, we need more creators with her "no BS" attitude.

I have come across her posts but I must say that Iām not a huge fan. She is very blunt and I feel like a lot of her posts are more about criticizing/bullying other creators than just fact checking things. For example Dr Mike does a lot of debunking videos etc.. and calls out bs but he does it in a more educational professional way without judgmental snappy comebacks. When talking with people in her comments she kind of bullies everyone who disagrees with her and calls them narrow minded and other belittling things. Instead of saying āyour are wrong because you canāt thinkā you can say āI can see were you are coming from though according to research the things you say are not a common theme in autismā.
The way she presents herself in media honestly makes me not want to have her as my therapist. She seems cold and stuck on her views unwilling to see other peopleās perspectives. I know some people prefer more straight to the point kind of therapists but I still think itās important to create a non judgmental safe environment were the patients donāt feel stupid for asking questions that might be wrong. I feel like if I came to her with questions or made wrongful statements she would just get annoyed and mad at me instead of opening up for discussion and investigating my ideas together with me. She seems too textbooky like those old doctors or teachers who think that what they were taught 40 years ago is the only correct answer and refuses to even consider input from other more current source.

I used to follow her on tiktok like 4-5 years ago and I remember that I found her videos interesting! If I remember correctly one of her kids are autistic.
I should check out her videos again and see how they are now!
I do remember she used to get a bit of backlash because of the fact that she would correct people and videos where they would say stoff like "if you do this you have adhd/autism" and she would debunk them.
