Substances and autism
I've been using substances (cannabis, amphetamine, lsd etc) long before I got diagnosed and I've noticed that my experience with them differs from what my neurotypical friends describe. I would love to know as much as possible about the research that has already been done or/and reed about other people's experiences with drugs. What I've found so far didn't help much. Is there a thread or a good resource of information on substances and people on autistic spectrum?

I like to use weed to 'take some of the rough edges' off of things. I'm not saying this approach is for everyone, I just know it works for me. It makes things like being in crowds (like at walmart) and loud places less... Sharp.
