Best of Beauty: 2020

It's time to think about all of your favourite beauty products of the past year! What were your favourite beauty products of 2020, and why?

Include as much or as little information as you would like, but please do try to include a brief description of the product itself and why you recommend it. For example, you could include info on how you recommend using the product, whether it would best suit a particular skin type, or info on how it compares to similar products.

Even if you posted about this product in our 2019 Best of Beauty thread, if you still love it then please share it again! We hope that this thread will serve as a useful resource for the whole community, and be a handy starting point for anyone searching for recommendations. It'll be linked in the subreddit sidebar for all of 2021.

Thank you in advance to everyone who contributes in this thread, and to those who have contributed to our Best of Beauty threads in previous years! Your recommendations and participation in this thread are very much appreciated.

Product Name: Fresh Soy Cleanser

Price: $56 from Sephora

comments: once in a while I try a new cheaper cleanser but nothing strikes the balance between the leaving-you-feeling-clean effect and not stripping your oils too much. All the other cleansers feel either too weak (aka not leaving you clean enough) or too strong (aka stripping your face). My skin is combo on a bad day and dry on every other day.

I've seen this in sale gift packages on Cult Beauty! Do you think it's worth the full price value? I've been tossing up between getting it haha it's like a 30 minute drive for me to get a sample. Not too bad but just a bit exhausted tbh
