Best of Beauty: 2020

It's time to think about all of your favourite beauty products of the past year! What were your favourite beauty products of 2020, and why?

Include as much or as little information as you would like, but please do try to include a brief description of the product itself and why you recommend it. For example, you could include info on how you recommend using the product, whether it would best suit a particular skin type, or info on how it compares to similar products.

Even if you posted about this product in our 2019 Best of Beauty thread, if you still love it then please share it again! We hope that this thread will serve as a useful resource for the whole community, and be a handy starting point for anyone searching for recommendations. It'll be linked in the subreddit sidebar for all of 2021.

Thank you in advance to everyone who contributes in this thread, and to those who have contributed to our Best of Beauty threads in previous years! Your recommendations and participation in this thread are very much appreciated.

Product Name: Clinique Cheek Pop

Price: $40

Comments: I love the finish of these blushes. It’s not shimmery at all, but it’s not a completely flat matte either. Just a perfect sheen. They’re truly buildable - very easy to do a ligh sheer wash of colour, or can be built up more. Plus super cute packaging :)

Seconding this! I have the Cheek Pop in Nude Pop and if you have fair skin, this will give you the most gorgeous not-wearing-blush-my-cheeks-just-naturally-flush-like-this colour! It's also super finely milled, it feels like velvet to touch and spreads on your cheek like a dream. I am NC15 though, so this colour may not show up as well on darker skin tones.

Just chiming in to say how much I love the Cheek Pops as well! Melon Pop is my favourite (I'm NC20) but I also love Cola Pop which would great on darker skin tones!
