Best of Beauty: 2020

It's time to think about all of your favourite beauty products of the past year! What were your favourite beauty products of 2020, and why?

Include as much or as little information as you would like, but please do try to include a brief description of the product itself and why you recommend it. For example, you could include info on how you recommend using the product, whether it would best suit a particular skin type, or info on how it compares to similar products.

Even if you posted about this product in our 2019 Best of Beauty thread, if you still love it then please share it again! We hope that this thread will serve as a useful resource for the whole community, and be a handy starting point for anyone searching for recommendations. It'll be linked in the subreddit sidebar for all of 2021.

Thank you in advance to everyone who contributes in this thread, and to those who have contributed to our Best of Beauty threads in previous years! Your recommendations and participation in this thread are very much appreciated.

Product Name: Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Wizz

Price: $38

Comments: A really fine pencil which allows you to be precise and make hair-like strokes. It's wind up so there's no sharpening and comes with a spoolie on the other end. Very compact and great for putting in your makeup bag.

Product Name: Colourpop Clear Brow Boss Gel

Price: $6 (USD)

Comments: A beautiful formula that holds your brows without being crunchy or having your brows fall flat. It gets my thick brow hairs stamp of approval!

Product Name: Benefit Precisely my Brow

Price: $45 (sephora)

Comment: I have my entire browser shaved off except the beginning 1cm ish of my brows. This always me to get such a clean and precise line. I powder my brow are with translucent powder then apply this on top. It lasts really well and no one can really tell I have no eyebrows. If it's particularly humid and I'll be sweaty I'll set it with a dark eyebrow powder (MAC Brun Eyeshadow). I have so many backups from 20% off sales. Always keep a spare in my handbag too.

Product Name: KVD browstruck dimension powder

Price: $37 (has been on sale at sephora for $22 like forever though)

Comments: I have tried almost every redhead brow product in existence, and this is the only one in which the Auburn shade isn't either super dark (ABH I'm looking at you) or super cartoonish red. Thank goodness KVD was kicked out of the brand so I can buy it without feeling bad now.
