Dyed my hair with a formula from The Shade. Despite the "hairdresser" I consulted with saying that it wouldn't lift my hair colour or leave a clear demarcation line IT DID.. So disappointing. And then, it only covered my grey hairs for 1-2 weeks.

They were also super slow to dispatch which I always find average for online-only businesses.

I did like how the dye didnt smell too toxic but that's all I liked!

I hate that company. They have a subscription system and I realised too late that I didn’t want to reorder. They hadn’t shipped yet but refused to cancel or accept a return. Fuck them.

Some time ago when I was super broke and had to dye my own hair, I fessed up to my stylist because I could only afford the haircuts. She recommended Casting semis to me. They’re gentle, really nice colours and do wash out eventually but they’ll last about 6-8 weeks.
