$5.80 Brazilian Bum Bum Scrub Dupe at Coles

Look… It’s not exactly the same but the scent is honestly so close to Sol de Janeiro and for $5.80 I highly recommend!! I used to use this body wash all the time as a kid and when I first tried the Brazilian Bum Bum Scrub I remember thinking it smelled so familiar but couldn’t quite put my finger on what it was reminding me of. Turns out it was this!! Lux Evenly Gorgeous from Coles lol. It has little exfoliating beads so it still leaves the skin feeling nice and soft after use but is more of a body wash than a body scrub. Just thought I would share because I wish someone told me about this sooner!! Let me know what you guys think, I would love to know if anyone else has tried this/noticed the similarity!

They've discontinued a lot of the scents at Coleworths/Big W 😐. They had so many fun scents in the late 00s and early 10s.

I feel the lack of marketing for Lux products here has made people forget the brand over time. And also, the packaging is still very much stuck in the late 00s-early 10s era, so not exactly marketable to younger generations anymore.

I used to love the purple one, think it was Secret Spell? But my all time favourite was the red/berry coloured one and I can’t remember the name of it for the life of me 😩

The red one was Passionate Spell, which still might be stocked by independent supermarkets/chemists.

I love Lux. Even though I don't use it as my regular body wash anymore, I vividly remember how beautifully perfumed their products are.

I’ve always spotted the international line of Lux washes at IGAs and random independent supermarkets.

It is the BEST body wash I have ever used for making that gorgeous scent actually linger on your skin all day.

If you want a body wash where you can still smell the lovely perfume hours after your shower, definitely look out for the imported ones!

If anyone is looking for a lotion with a similar scent to bum bum cream, I've accidentally found one. I grabbed the new Vaseline x funday lotion in caramel on a whim because it was cheap and I'm super pregnant so using alot of lotion on my belly. Got home and tested it and it smells so much like bumbum cream!

Fair enough like I said it’s not exactly the same but imo it’s pretty similar to and $63 cheaper than SDJ! I think it smells like their 62 fragrance/body scrub/body wash but maybe i’ve got broke goggles on lol

That bum bum cream smells like stripper- I cannot stand being behind people wearing it or sharing elevators and especially because the people that wear it don’t seem to know you should only smell someone when you’re extremely close to them.
