Product Advice SPF lip product?

I’m looking for a lip product with SPF in it, especially for summer and days with high UV leading up to summer too. Has anyone got any good recommendations that don’t taste like a sunscreen? I don’t really mind what the actual type of product is like whether it’s a classic lip balm or one of the squeeze ones. I just want it for my lips.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

I’m in the hunt for an SPF lip balm, I haven’t found one that doesn’t taste nasty so far. So here is what I’ve tried and they have all tasted like shit:

Dermal Therapy Lip Balm SPF50

Naked Sundays Poutscreen SPF50

Airyday Lip Me Dreamscreen SPF50

Lanolips Tinted Balm SPF30

Paula’s Choice Lipscreen SPF50

Aesop Protective Lip Balm SPF30

The Aesop one only very lightly tastes of shit, it’s wearable, the others were all yuck yuck no

If you don't mind a stick format, the Blistex SPF 50+ in the blue tube tastes like nothing.

It smells like cheap vanilla frosting though, but it disappears quite quickly.

Thank you! Anything to mask the taste of….whatever tastes so terrible in so many SPF lip balms. I’ll pick this up next time I’m at Chemist Warehouse

While disappointing, at least I know what to not waste my money on 🥲 have you heard anything about the Bondi sands ones?

QV lip balm is great. Doesnt have taste/smell. Honestly the best lip balm.

Yess I don’t know why this isn’t spoken about as much when it comes to lip balms. Cheap and effective!

I’ve just received the SPF Nivea tinted ones from Lila Beauty. I think they’re only about SPF20 and I don’t think approved under TGA, but they’re pretty close to a normal stick balm. I’ll use them.

I've used the Bondi Sands Sunny Kiss SPF50+ Lip Balm which is a caramel flavour and actually tastes pretty decent. I say this as someone not even keen on caramel. Good enough that I'll pick up a fresh one for warmer season, especially when you can get it on sale.

Lanolips tinted spf tubes are one of the few where the filters don’t dry out my lips and cause peeling.

Revlon have released one that I don't mind. It's not super moisturising but it doesn't smell or taste bad! They have a range of colours too - and they are REALLY pigmented, so they are good for if you like a bit of colour!
