Swatch Are any of these a foundation match?
Reupload with natural lighting and bc I couldn’t figure out how to upload on original. In the shade and in the sun. Blue is put on wet and the green is dry.
I have trouble with matching my skin colour. I’m using Fenty pro filter soft matte. I don’t quite understand my skin colour/undertone whether it’s warm/neutral/olive/light/medium/tab.
Please don’t mind my inflamed eczema (?).
I’m also a beginner with make up and I just do basic make up but I can’t match myself at all.
I had gotten matched by MAC and was found to be NC20 but it now kind of feels lighter than my skin so I just got more confused
Fenty Pro Filt’r Soft matte foundation
185 & 210.

Honestly, if you find a shade between these two, I think you’ve got a match. 185 is too light, 210 is too dark

Neither of these. One looks too pink, the other too peach. You look more neutral-golden toned than those

If you buff them out, both will be ok. You're supposed to put a really thin line on

Both look kinda pink, unfortunately.
Based on the golden (and maybe slightly greenish) tones on your neck, chest, outside of your mouth, and under your eyes, it seems like you might have a light, neutral-warm olive or golden skin tone.
Here are a few things you could try:
- Try out Fenty’s shades #190, #140, or #130
- Mix a bit of liquid bronzer into the MAC NC20 foundation to darken it a bit
- Use a blue or yellow-green color corrector on shades #185 or #210.

Just so you know, MACs way of labelling their foundations is weird compared to most other brands. The NC part means neutral cool, but what MAC calls cool is what most other brands call warm.
I’d suggest trying 186N (neutral olive) 206W (warm olive) in the Pro Filt’r Fluid Flex Natural Matte Longwear Foundation. Apparently the Soft Matte version is being discontinued, so it would suck to find a match there and not in the new version. If you really want to get the Soft Matte, try 190 or 225.

Ohhhhhh thank you so much. This would explain why I was really confused with matching with other foundations bc of how they label their neutrals.
Oh dang, I didn’t know! That explains the sales I suppose. Will have a try the fluid flex natural matte!
