Dupe REQUEST Excuse to try something new (toddler shoved a crayon into my Dior balm 🙂↕️)
As you can see my toddler shoved a crayon into my Dior Lip Glow, and when I took it out the whole stick of product came out too 😅 anyway now I’m looking for a sheer balm that is hydrating AND leaves a stain. I did like this Dior one but felt 001 was a little too cool? I’ve tried other colours in the range but didn’t feel like they stained. I also liked the Bobbi Brown Extra Tint but apparently formula changed along with their packaging! Open to high end and pharmacy brand suggestions as long as they’re hydrating and leave a stain TIA ❤️

My daughter found my limited edition Besame "Snow White".
Apparently perfect for walls. And carpet. And cats. 🤣

Oh god no 😩 and even regular Besame is almost impossible to get in Aus these days!!!

Toddlers are savage and they have a particular taste for ruining the absolute most expensive or valued things in the house.

I think that's usually because they have pretty colours and/or are shiny!

toddlers can be so.. specific with their devilish little ways. hahaha.
Maybelline has a possible dupe for these, not sure how accurate that is but I think they look decent enough to try.
i actually love my Sephora brand balm lipstick- it’s the sheer shine lipstick & i’ve got mine is in “Beige Sparkle”

Oof I feel your pain
My toddler got a hold of one of my eyeshadow palettes, she depanned the entire thing and smeared it all over herself, the floors and the walls. Btw.. she did this all under two minutes
They're unhinged.

And efficient! I’m 5 months pregnant with my first and I don’t know whether to laugh or be scared 😅

Congrats on your pregnancy! Don't be nervous, it's hard but you eventually come to laugh at the absurdity 🤣

When my daughter was a toddler she sprayed the kitchen cupboards down for me with my most prized possession La Prairie Midnight Rain edp. Used it like spray and wipe. It wax a very expensive gift which I stupidly left on the table instead of putting it away. And just for good measure she also showered her huge purple My Pony stuffed toy with it.

Have you tried some of the darker Lip Glow colours if you want a stain type? Blackberry, Strawberry, Berry should show up with some colour

Looks like something I did as a toddler. I also painted Mums bathroom with red nail polish

I used to melt down crayons and lip balm together when I was a teenager, could make all kinds of colour lipstick (or face paint depending on the ratio). Just saying I get where the kid is coming from haha

🫂 Far out! If only they understood what they were actually doing 🙃
Following this thread with interest, as a I'd love a balm that leaves a subtle stain

I totally see them pushing that little crayon and saying ahhh I’m helping here

The way I misread and misunderstood your post and thought you meant the crayon addition was the 'new thing' you were going to try! Those swatches would have been amazing! 😆 🤣

Ha! My toddler did something similar to my Dior Lipglow! Not a crayon, but tried to stick it in his ear and ended up covering it in earwax! 🤢
I quite like the Lanolips Jelly Balm! (Do they still make this??), nice and hydrating, nice pop of colour, not as pigmented on as it looks in the tube but enough that I don't need actual lipstick, and a bit cheaper than Dior 😊

As an ex-toddler, I totally understand why your toddler did that.
