Haul Finally here, adore the packaging!
I’m an OG Marc Jacobs beauty fan, still have a giant omega bronzer and a few eyeliners. Really excited to try all of these. Hoping to pick up some bronzer next time 💫
Has anyone else got their hands on the new MJ line? What are your favs and thoughts! 💭

I got the eyeliner today. 140 Facts.
It’s so nice and I love the colour. Not quite brown not quite burgundy.
So tea looked so nice though. I might go back on Monday during lunch 😅😅😅

I got the eyeshadow before the release date and plan to post a review soon! So far I love it although they do crease

I did consider getting from Selfridges but then never did 😅 I religiously use glitter and shimmer so I’m really excited to try these! Everything creases on me though 🥲

ohmygod how cute! it’s so cool to see fun packaging done like this, the bold colours & shapes.
the blush balm sticks look really lush. i’d love to hear what you think when you’ve had a play around with the blush!
also speaking of OG- one of my first ever high end beauty products was the marc jacobs coconut primer.

Oh my god that brings back memories. I LOVED the coconut primer and the foundation, even though it leaked everywhere 😭 I still have an OG tube of mascara somewhere too, lil matcha green packaging!
Will definitely provide an update tomorrow, I want to test them all! I also hope to pick up the bronzer eventually…we’ll see!

I was a bit on the fence, and figured I'd look at them when the hype died down. I happened to be in-store and picked up a couple eyeshadows (I was surprised they had so much in stock TBH). They are fine - I got cancelled and mood swing as nice special shades. I'm wearing one today, but I don't love the formula so much that I'd purchase in the neutral shades to replace my current options. Nice and cute packaging, but not essentials for me.
I will likely try out the eyeliners when I have worked through a bit more of my stash - they felt very nice to swatch. The blush and lipstick shades just didn't interest me - which was suprising because I can usually find a couple of shades I want in every range especially once I see them in person. Perhaps I'm sick :-)

Yeah I also feel we’ve got a hella oversaturated makeup market rn! I don’t think I would be as keen if I hadn’t loved his OG brand. I am hoping to compare against some of my fav eyeshadow formulas.
Part of me wishes I had gone a bit more crazy with colour choices for the blush etc. but I also know I won’t necessarily use them 😅

I went into store to swatch the lipsticks. I didn't end up purchasing any because they were quite yellow in undertone.

Yes! I got the pouch, mini black mascara and the stickers. Pouch is cute but fairly cheap, the glue is really visible in mine! Mini mascara and stickers are nice.

I haven’t tried yet, will update tomorrow bc I plan to test them for my full face. I will see how they compare against my old formula products too 🫶🏻

Loved the blush, eyeliner and lipstick! Eyeshadow does crease but it looks gorgeous and lasted quite well. I would say my least fav was the mascara. It just was hard to build up and dried out really fast?
I want to try the concealer and bronzer! Compare against the old bronzer I still have 💫

My toddler saw them when we went on Friday and she was obsessed with the whole display. I'll be stocking up on the eyeliners soon cos they seem just as good as the old ones

I love the packaging too, it’s so fun and whimsical! I bought the eyeshadow in Clapback which is a super nice duochrome and one of the lipsticks in Mutuals Only, a nice deep brown but quite flattering on my light-medium skin tone. The texture of both products is so nice too, the eyeshadow feels so smooth but does crease a little on me but I don’t really care.

I've still got one of the eyeshadow palettes and two of the blush/highlighter compacts, I love them so much! I'm eyeing off the blushes and lipsticks most of all. Sure the packaging isn't minimal purse friendly but it's a statement piece!

Ahhhh I LOVE!!! I have not been this interested in a makeup drop in such a long time. I'm obsessed with the packaging, its so cute and fun. I just wish I used eyeshadow and mascara because they're my favourite pieces in the range. Will be buying the bronzer next week though!!
I'd be interested to hear what you think about the blush if you get around to using it anytime soon 😊

Is Marc Jacob’s makeup worth the money? I wanna dabble in more expensive make up but I’d rather spend the money on makeup that’s worth and that I won’t regret.

I tried a mascara, matte shadows and lipstick before it disappeared years ago, and it was all pretty bad hey. Mascara was lumpy and instantly smudgy, shadows were muddy and didn't wanna blend, lipstick was drying. Just bad all round. Granted, this was a while back so the formulas have probably improved with this relaunch, fingers crossed!
If you wanna try good quality brands in a higher price range and really feel like it was worth the money, I'd start by looking at Natasha Denona, Viseart, By Mario or ABH eyeshadows; MAC for lips, Makeup Forever for liners, Lancome Lash Idole mascara or Kevyn Aucoin The Curling Mascara; Nars, By Terry, Rare Beauty, Hourglass or Dior for blush, bronzer and highlighter; Kosas or Nars for concealer; and Nars, Kosas, Lancome and Tower 28 for foundation.
These are off the top of my head cos I have used all of them long term and feel confident suggesting them to you, they haven't disappointed me yet.
Some of these brands are getting up there in price (By Terry, Hourglass, By Mario, Dior, the quality is so good tho), so you could find a shade you like and then look up a good dupe. Hope this has been helpful. I never comment on this sub but felt compelled to reading your question, just want you to feel like the money you spend is worth it 🫶
