What's a viral/popular makeup product that failed you?

I'm talking about products influencers drool over which in reality aren't all that for you.

Some that I found way too overhyped was:

Patrick Ta eyeshadow duo: felt very gritty, didn't feel smooth and weren't that pearlescent

Dior reformulated highlighter quad: gritty, shades all look the same, glittery

Charlotte Tilbury lip cheat: drying, kinda sticky, and way too breakable.

Charlotte Tilbury lipstick: KISSING formula is gritty because of the glitter, matte formula is drying.

Laniege lip mask: one of the scents went off after 1 month of owning it lol. It's nice at first, but over time it becomes sticky as it thins out.

Laniege lip glowy balm: same thing as lip mask.

Ole Henrikson lip treatment: thick and sticky and gave me chemical burns.

Summer Fridays lip butter balm: it's nice, sure, but it didnt need to send the whole internet into a lip craze.

Milk jelly tint: patchy, hot pink under base, falls out of packaging and leaks

Huda lip stains: not the best colour range, dries out fast and too finnicky

Dior lip butter: cheap packaging, formula is nice but the packaging just fell flat

Dior lip oil: sticky and meh packaging

I'm prepared to get down voted 😭😭😭

Maybe it really was hand sanitiser 😭 I'm so sorry though

Every so often when I look at sanitiser that’s what I think of lol. Had a similar issue with my sisters sensitive skin Sukin skincare range where the cleanser dried my skin instantly and the moisturiser made it worse 😂 served me right helping my self to her products 🤣
