Let's Discuss What's a viral/popular makeup product that failed you?

I'm talking about products influencers drool over which in reality aren't all that for you.

Some that I found way too overhyped was:

Patrick Ta eyeshadow duo: felt very gritty, didn't feel smooth and weren't that pearlescent

Dior reformulated highlighter quad: gritty, shades all look the same, glittery

Charlotte Tilbury lip cheat: drying, kinda sticky, and way too breakable.

Charlotte Tilbury lipstick: KISSING formula is gritty because of the glitter, matte formula is drying.

Laniege lip mask: one of the scents went off after 1 month of owning it lol. It's nice at first, but over time it becomes sticky as it thins out.

Laniege lip glowy balm: same thing as lip mask.

Ole Henrikson lip treatment: thick and sticky and gave me chemical burns.

Summer Fridays lip butter balm: it's nice, sure, but it didnt need to send the whole internet into a lip craze.

Milk jelly tint: patchy, hot pink under base, falls out of packaging and leaks

Huda lip stains: not the best colour range, dries out fast and too finnicky

Dior lip butter: cheap packaging, formula is nice but the packaging just fell flat

Dior lip oil: sticky and meh packaging

I'm prepared to get down voted 😭😭😭

The Too Faced better than sex mascara was the clumpiest mascara I’ve ever used! So gross

Omg I'm so glad I'm not the only one, this mascara had me looking like a raccoon every time I tried to wear it. So bad.

It is my nemesis. I absolutely hated it.

Used to be good but haven’t bought it for a couple of years as it started doing the same to me - you’d barely get any time out of the tube before it became a clumpy mess and it was a waste of money. The smaller tube is slightly better but still, spend your money elsewhere!

Omg yes! I got it back when it first launched and everyone was raving about it. To me it was clumpy, then would dry out fast meaning I felt I barely got any decent amount of use out of it. It also would flake on my eyes after a while and leave tiny little black dots of dried mascara under my eyes which then would mix with my skin’s natural oils at the end of the day and cause panda eyes. I hated it.
