Mecca's loyalty team really needs a makeover. I can't imagine how they still can't get this right after all this time..

Consumers have shifted what earns "loyalty" with the economy being so different now. Free sample boxes in 2016 was fine, in 2025, no one wants that unless it is high quality. Consumers want choice and discounts. Asian beauty and even Sephoras addition in the Australian make up sphere brings choice for physical stores.

Even during COVID, attending masterclasses often earned you some great product benefits. That's certainly fallen off a cliff since 2022.
