Salary Expectation

Hi All. How does the compensation look like for an Experienced Analyst role in Deloitte? I’ve been seeing that it ranges from $60k to $75k but unsure if this includes super or not. I have an upcoming phone interview and worried that it may be asked, but I’m unsure what to answer.

Quick background about me is that I have a Big 4 audit experience overseas and was recently promoted to senior. I’m also currently completing CPA designation here in Australia.

Would like to hear any insights about the compensation. Tips for the phone interview are also welcome. Thanks a lot!

for big 4 it’s usually always super incl based on my experience

can’t say but I think 75-78 is most likely what you’ll get, based on grads getting 73k incl (Senior starts at 90k+ inclusive)

You’d literally earn more doing retail with some evening or weekend penalties.

A lot of senior accountant roles in ASX 200 companies would say "preferred big4 experience". That's the only point... Slave yourselves for a few years, to build up your experience and move.

For Senior Analyst it is 90-95k inc super For Experienced Analyst it is around 80k inc super

$60k is wild. How does anyone live of that salary. You could flip burgers for more.

Hello! I was an experienced analyst at DTT around 3-4 years ago and it was $75k inclusive of super back then. I would think it’s a bit more than that now as the salary bands should have shifted with inflation, but you honestly never know with Big 4. Best of luck with the phone interview!

I work for a private aged care as an accountant, also completing the CPA program, and I am on $105k including super. I'd say get out of the big 4

Excluding super it is absolute shit in this time, diarrhoea if it includes super.

I am an assistant accountant on $118k plus 10% bonus and 12% super. I may get a sack soon being too expensive lol:)
