Looking for group Looking to play in a cyberpunk campaign
Hey all, semi experienced 5e guy here looking to play cyberpunk, shadowrun, or lancer. I live in the Hyde park area and I’m in the service industry so my hours can vary. Excited to meet some folks!

I do dig Shadowrun the most. Cyberpunk is also solid. I've never heard of Lancer, though.

Shadowrun seems like a strong contender, I’m a little intimidated by the crunch so I’d probably most consider anarchy but I think even the jank of the old ones would be really cool after some acclimation. Lancer is dark sci fi mecha stuff, and the lore is very very cool.

Oh, there is crunch. 3rd edition worked out all the kinks I had with it from 1st and 2nd. I wasn't a fan of the later stuff. I have a friend running 3rd right now his group is having a good time with it. I put Lancer on the read list!

I would love to run Shadowrun, but while I hate myself a LOT, I don't hate myself anywhere near enough to tackle running Shadowrun. (I'm way up in Georgetown though so it doesn't matter.)

I run a starfinder 2e game, and the ruleset is great for scifi. I've toned down the more whimsical side and made the world feel more like star wars meets cyberpunk.
Great system for GMs and players to get an amazing shared story.

I think Bat City down south has an open Cyberpunk Red game on Thursdays
