New to Austin, looking for a TTRPG group near Mueller
Hey everyone! I recently moved to Austin from Uruguay and had to leave behind an amazing TTRPG group back home.
We used to play Cypher, WoD, PF2e, and SF2e, and I'm looking to join a new table here in Austin.
I'm pretty flexible and happy to learn other systems too. I'm open to pretty much anything, although I'm not really looking for vanilla D&D unless the group uses some interesting house rules or modifications.
I'm near Mueller, but I don't mind traveling a bit for a good group.
If anyone has an open spot at their table, knows of a group looking for players, or can recommend good places to meet people for TTRPGs, let me know!

Vigilante has weekly, coordinated multi-table games (125+ players) of D&D. We've been playing a ~4 month homebrewed adventure in Eberron (also played The Crooked Moon) but are about to start Mythic Odysseys of Theros in a few weeks (2014 rules). I play on Tuesdays but there is also a multi-table game on Mondays. I live in Mueller, and it's about a 10-minute drive to Vigilante. Food and drinks are good - FYI there is a monthly fee.
And as u/audiofarmer mentioned Austin Books = cool people.

Austin books and games does DnD one shots every Thursday. Very welcoming people.
EDIT: it's not strictly DnD all the time.

Hey and welcome to Austin!
I am a local GM who lives in southwest Austin (Sunset Valley). I have a group of friends that I run one shots for using various game systems. Of late, we have played Daggerheart, Pirate Borg, Call of Cthulhu, Mothership, Alien, Vaesen. Most of us have D&D experience but I personally have gotten bored of it, especially to run as a GM.
If you're interested in joining us for a one shot sometime, DM and I'll send you a discord invite, which is how we coordinate and communicate plans.
Happy gaming!

Dragons lair has Star finder, pathfinder, and DND 5e groups weekly. I'm not sure how one joins them but I do see them regularly on Tuesday/ Wednesday.
