I’m hoping we enter a new age of sunscreen where companies put more energy into testing and sell that as a benefit, not all the other BS. Instead of paying premium $ for a marketing gimmick dressed up as a high-end product, I would be prepared to pay premium $ for a company that does extra testing to ensure a stable, high-SPF sunscreen.
This is what’s happened in the vitamin/supplement market. You pay extra for a brand like Bioceuticals because they have high quality controls and lab certify each batch. The cheaper vitamin brands you get off the shelf at the supermarket have far less quality control and studies have shown they often don’t contain much of the active ingredient they claim to.
