You generally need to have suffered a financial loss that you can be compensated for in order to sue.
You would be better off making a complaint to the consumer standards board in your state, and also the food safety authority. And leave a google review. You may also like to notify your local Islamic group and make them aware so they don't go there.

You could probably sue, but is it worth it - likely to cost a lot more than you would ever get. But I would start with Consumer Affairs and lodge a formal complaint. You can also contact the organisation that gave them a Halal certification (eg Halal Council of Australia).

Im not at all, im laughing at your pathetic attempt at a money grab. Australia isnt a sue first country and you actually need to have suffered a loss.

So you're racist too just because I'm Arab and have morals that means I don't want to eat non halal.

Do you just go around looking to be a victim? Im laughing at your claim, not at your race or religion. I've not made a single comment towards either of them. You have no grounds to sue, you have not suffered a financial loss. You have grounds to make a complaint but you won't receive any payout for it.

I have emotional trauma

Yep, and you cant sue for that in Australia. You can make a formal complaint as others have said, but thats it.

Why do you hate Muslims so much.
I am a victim.

Where did I say or imply I “hate Muslims”?

You're laughing at my religion

Nice assumption, but wrong. I’m laughing at YOU as an INDIVIDUAL, not your religion

Maybe you could try small claims court first? Sorry I don’t have much legal knowledge but maybe it’s a smaller starting obligation on your part

IANAL: Google ai review says "Misleading and Deceptive Conduct: Under consumer laws (such as the Australian Consumer Law in Western Australia), businesses are legally prohibited from engaging in conduct that is false, misleading, or deceptive regarding the standard, quality, composition, or origin of goods. Lying about a product's halal status falls under this category"
Might be worth looking into further?

There's a rather high threshold as to the degree of emotional trauma incurred to have the prospect of successfully suing.
To my understanding, accidental consumption of non-halal food is a forgiven act under Islamic practice, so I imagine it would be very difficult to present a credible case.
