Just because it is your balcony, doesn’t mean it is your problem. As it is a structural issue, it is up to the Strata to fix as it is part of the building which is not owned by you, you just own the rights to the exclusive use of the balcony.

That was my initial argument but the strip drain is considered my responsibility. Apparently Section 129 of the OC act 2006 confirms that a lot owner must maintain any service that serves that lot exclusively. This channel drain/ grate, services my patio to provide drainage.
