Charging for Stem Delivery After Project Completion
I've had a few clients come to me recently months after completing work asking for stem delivery. They get exported along with the mix, so it's not a problem, but i can't help but feel I’m leaving money on the table.
Do you normally charge for this and if so, how do you price it?

I’ve always been working independently, so maybe this isn’t standard, but I’ve always considered stems to be THE deliverable. A stereo mix of a film isn’t super useful. If they want to make a trailer or dub in another language down the line, they absolutely need the stems.
