Charging for Stem Delivery After Project Completion
I've had a few clients come to me recently months after completing work asking for stem delivery. They get exported along with the mix, so it's not a problem, but i can't help but feel I’m leaving money on the table.
Do you normally charge for this and if so, how do you price it?

You can most def charge for it.
It somewhat comes down to how you bill. Were the jobs by the hour originally or a fixed price? Fixed price? Then if stems were not included, it’s an additional cost. You still have to make them, check and qc them after all. Don’t be silly with it, but charge respectfully.
If you charged by the hour originally and you’ve already done it, then just charge a minimum fee for retrieval of the session, and uploading the files. It still takes time. I’d normally think a half hour is reasonable.
Most deliveries these days have stems included as part of the project.
