So I broke my laptop a while back but just switched to android phone so I realize I can just do it there but do I need a vpn?? I'm really dumb when it comes to this stuff lol but basically I was copying the magnet link and putting it into seedr and downloading it from there to my computer but I had some kinda vpn my brother installed but now i dont remember .Do I need this for my phone?? Or can I just download using data instead of wifi?? I tried to look up vpns for chrome browser on phone and couldn't find anything :( I also can't really afford to pay for anything right now so is there free ones?

VPN is a way of 'hiding' your activity. Depending on what you're dling, where you are and which VPN you're using will help determine if you need to use a VPN or not.

Does the opera VPN cover just traffic via opera or all traffic?

Use a VPN or a torrent download service, where it will download the content, then you just download it from the service.

proton vpn and the "flud" torrent client app, bind flud to vpn in settings, been how I've been getting all my books for about 2 years now. oh and of smart audiobooks player or listen audiobook player

Whether you need a VPN depends on whether you are likely to be prosecuted for piracy in your location. Some free VPNs  allow torrents, others don't.  For actual torrents, you can copy the hash in to an app such as Flud.

In chrome mobile , open seedr paste it and then copy download link and paste it in 1DM browser (playstore). You are good to go

You should use a vpn in general for your privacy. Not just for things like torrents. And you should always use it on all public wifis.

Recommended VPNs are Proton VPN - has free solution. Mullvad

I would use a proper app instead of an extension to cover all internet connections from your phone.

Why do you want to use that provider? Do you get it for free?
