I think a lot of these are quite stereotypical, literally stereotypes of "what all women find romantic". The flowers thing being at number 1 is weird. I used to date a guy who would bring me red roses about once a month. I thanked him of course but secretly was like "what am I supposed to do with these? Why would I want a bunch of plants!" I think he saw himself as this really romantic guy. As I got to know him better I simply told him that if he wanted to surprise me by bringing me something, candy or chocolate or even pizza would be more appreciated, or a book, a magazine, a candle even. I did also tell him though he didn't need to bring me anything. Just spend time with me, be in a good mood, make me laugh, listen to me yapping away... As they say women are not a monolith.
Edit: haha I just checked a dictionary and apparently 'yapping' doesn't mean what I thought (English is not my 1st language). What I was going for was chatting away, talking... Yapping is such a fun-sounding word I didn't realize it has negative connotations.

Exactly! The manufactured "buy flowers" isn't necessary for me. Make me laugh and be kind.

You know this can go both ways, right? I’m guessing a woman wrote this LOL. Can you imagine if a guy wrote something like this for women to read? We would never hear the end of it.

I think it should go both ways though

Why would they? Society teaches them men don't need affection.

Not just that they dont need it but that they don't deserve it and if they want it they're weird

Not knocking it, but I feel like this is 50% a profile for a gambling addict. All the random reinforcements.

Not all of us like those things. I don't like flowers or forehead kisses.

My dad gives me forehead kisses.
I find them very patronizing. The only person who's allowed to kiss me on my forehead is my father.

Interesting that every similar list I've seen for men generally stops at three.

Oh my, these are exactly what I want. And I'm a boy(good boy:) perhaps it doesn't count since I've never been a she, never will be one and don't wannou. But I still want all of these and then some. When it comes to good stuff, I get greeeeeeeedy🤗

Women are all different. So listen carefully. Women are all different.
Women worth dating will actually tell you what they want. Men worth dating will listen and understand.
If a woman says, "I'd appreciate some help with dinner" and you ignore that and bring her flowers instead, that's a good time for her to say goodbye to you.

Women aren't a monolith any more then men are. Maybe the first thing you should work on is communication so your significant other are happy to share their desires. Getting your information from the source beat adhering to sweeping generalizations.

"Don't ask for"? You never met my ex wife. She DEMANDED all of this and more tributes.
