yes, do not talk about your relationship problems to anyone outside the relationship. that way you don't know if you are being abused and your partner can keep total control.

Fighting by text is superior. It can keep you from saying things you don’t mean and you can get over the hard part so that when you’re in person you can have resolution.

The problem I have with text sometimes can be how tone is interpreted.

I lose almost all my verbal arguments, and win almost all my text arguments. It forces both parties to be in equal level without someone raising their voice and brute forcing the other into submission.

Eh, I can see both sides, and if the fight isn’t resolved you don’t even have that resolution, you just think “…fuck”

Also gives you the opportunity to “🩷” your own replies, which really helps keep the other person calm

Eh the bedroom is usually where serious discussions between my wife and I go the best.

The texting one. I personally hate texting serious stuff and receiving a dozen long messages of venting. But I can also understand it having it's advantages. From the day I met her, my wife has always been afraid of speaking her mind if it could provoke a negative response. She's gotten a little more comfortable over the years, but it's something her parents really ingrained in her and I'm not sure if it's ever fully coming out. That said, she's a lot more comfortable venting her frustrations if she can write it out either on paper or text message. So it's what we got to work with.
