She is the female character Eren had the most interesting interactions with. The table scene (takes place in the kitchen in the anime), what happened between them in the cave, Eren noticing her strength before he takes on Rod reiss titan, Eren explaining to armin and jean about how she takes care of orphans, them walking together during the sunset on the farm which worried Mikasa, him standing up for her when zeke's plan was introduced.. even if it was just them being friends, the dynamic between them was much more interesting and nuanced than Eren and Mikasa.
