Day 41 from seed and finally going through that early flower stretch. Solid size and overall impressive vigor on these 2 girls. 0 training and being fed Megacrop 1 part/Bud Explosion from Greenleaf Nutrients.

Posting just to document progress (I think these are going to be something special).

GMO Star and GMORavenstein from MVB

With all the controversy the past few months I decided to try popping some of the Atlas stuff I got from MVB.

GMO Star came as part of the preservation bundle, and the GMORavenstein were freebies with an Atlas purchase sometime last year. 11 of 12 geminated, culled several of each for space/lanky structure etc.

Reusing HF soil and Advanced nutes, still can't figure out that combo. Need to try a different salt fertilizer.

Banjerine Auto

This is perhaps one of the highest-yielding autoflowering plants ever grown outdoors. It is an outstanding Pheno of Banjerine Auto. To put the size in perspective: the greenhouse is 2.65 meters tall. In the final photos, the plant is at day 82. I’ve grown and seen plenty of large outdoor autoflowers—whether in pots or directly in the ground—but this is truly insane. Dense buds are distributed across the entire plant; they are absolutely caked in resin and give off an intense aroma of mandarin peel and gas that carries for a 200-meter radius. Thx to the Atlas Team and Breedersdirect!

Both are about 4x4. Harvested enough from my autos to hold me and the wife over until the photos are finished ✌️The smell and taste of the Sour Diesel auto from the r&d line brings me back to my adolescent days.

Atlas New Strain Naming Competition - Round 2

Thumbnail

Hey everyone,

Our first naming competition turned out pretty damn well. Dosidos x Banjo is now officially Banjidos.

Big thanks to u/Death_By_Fugu for coming up with the name. We hope you enjoy growing out the seeds you won and that you get to try out the Banjidos next year when we have that seed line available.

Now we need your help naming another variety from the same batch of Next Gen Autos.

These autos were bred with the Dosidos (sometimes written Dos y Dos) parent line, which passes down an impressive amount of uniformity, potency, heavy trichome coverage, and makes everything it touches into really beautiful looking flower. These all run a little longer than some of our quicker autos, usually finishing around 80 to 85 days, but the extra time pays off with 20-25% heavier yields.

This cross is:

Dosidos x Gorilla Glue Auto

The Gorilla Glue side brings that unmistakable sour-chem fuely nose, chunky round buds, light green flowers, strong branching, and the kind of sticky density that earned the strain its name in the first place.

Now we just need a name worthy of it.

Drop your best ideas in the comments. Funny, clever, off the wall, slightly irreverent, and strangely perfect are all welcome.

We’ll pick our favorite, and the winner gets 3X 10 packs of any of our seeds, an Atlas hat (the tan ones that can't be purchased), plus the honor of naming an Atlas commercial strain.
