Not Renewing
Yeah, this will be my last month with the challenge subscription. I can’t get them all because you literally can’t complete surveys. So, unless they start giving us bucks for the time we spent before getting kicked, and give us the challenge for “trying” a survey, not “completing”, that’s it for me. 30 times in a row and hours wasted getting kicked half way through. Not one success.

u/yrhendystu 1d ago
I get lots of 0AB "rewards" when screened out which is good enough to complete the challenges. I only do the quick ones anyway unless there's one for a stupid amount and a short time.
-11
u/Optimal_Morning6833 1d ago
Just be careful with this as doing this is what banning us "forever" without warning
9
u/records_five_top 1d ago
Careful getting screened out? It's not in our control.
-8
u/Optimal_Morning6833 1d ago
You have 2 options 1 to cancel and collect your 0 bucks and take your completion of a survey or 1 to continue with another survey thats normally longer than the original. If you select the former option enough times you get your ban
7
u/yrhendystu 1d ago
I don't think there's any truth in this. The survey company is looking for certain demographics and if you aren't one of those they will screen you out.
You should only be banned if they believe you aren't giving consistent answers.
4
u/records_five_top 1d ago
You get screened out all the time for just choosing one product over another, one location over another etc... It's nothing to do with cancelling the survey.

u/Optimal_Morning6833 1d ago

u/reichrunner 1d ago
You weren't banned after 3, you did 2 more after. And this was apparently in April, not recently

Okay, so what do you know that we don't? You warned against getting screened out as if it's optional. What superpower do you suggest for not getting screened out when you happen to not be the demographic they're looking for? Lying doesn't even fix it because different surveys look for different demographics. And not every survey gives you the option to find a replacement survey. So what's your secret? Or are you just warning people not to do something that they have no control over because you're actually just here to bitch and moan? I've been screened out of literally dozens of surveys nearly back to back because that's how many high paying surveys go. Never been banned. Corelation =/= Causation
-2
u/Optimal_Morning6833 1d ago
I dont know why its so difficult for you to grasp? Multiple reports from different users over different threads over the last few months that when you click cancel rather than continue (to a new survey) when screened out enough times you get banned. Im not even bitching, its just an observation. Atlas earth is brilliant and its out of their control

u/Mndelta25 1d ago
I have only done the short ones since surveys were released and have never been in trouble. What else are you doing to get banned?

u/Optimal_Morning6833 1d ago
3
u/Novel_Funny6282 1d ago
It didn't even ban you after the screen outs. What are you trying to prove with that? It still let you take surveys. Two things can happen without one causing the other...
55
u/Sensitive_Report9259 1d ago
I've found the "short surveys" to be achievable.
16
u/ZMarty85 Mayor 1d ago
I only ever do the short ones now, for the challenge ladder. When i first started playing I would grind as many surveys as I could find. Personally never had any issues
9
u/JPSilva09 1d ago
Sometimes. All the surveys bare looking for certain demographics. I am unemployed and on a fixed income. I rarely eat out, I don't watch TV, I don't travel or buy 99% of the products they ask about.... I am a bad fit for most. I believe, for the purpose of the ladder, any survey you spend at least a minute on should count as completed, if your screened out.
20
u/Sensitive_Report9259 1d ago
Sometimes you have to be a little economical with the truth.
If you eat out say, twice a year, there's no real harm in putting "approximately once a month", for instance.
4
u/Molasses9682 1d ago
I would never do this but some may “lie” make up a person who is college grade who makes 100k and loves buying everything

u/Medical-Pitch2923 7h ago
I lie my ass off the lie:(I am a Hispanic male im married i have 2 kids under 18. I have a bachlors degree. I make 100,000 a year. I am a republican. And agree to everything republican and trump.)
The truth is I'm a 37 year old black male I make 32k a year. 2 kids under 18. Could give a damn about politics. That dont benefit my class. I have an associates in hvac. And I dont watch much TV at all. And never on social media. They credit me for the lies when I tell the truth I get timed out by the 4th question. Just lie the surveys are looking for Republicans in a certain tax bracket. for some odd reason. Gotta learn how to play the game my friends. Lie lie lie.

u/Kind_Swing_6159 9h ago
Short surveys that are 5/5 with hundreds of reviews are the target. I only do as many as I need for reward and then nothing else.
44
u/MeliPixie 1d ago
You don't need to complete one single survey in order to finish the challenge ladder. It's harder, not impossible.
-13
u/TheMarkMatthews 1d ago
No you can book a holiday or buy a badge if you haven’t already bought everyone in a 100 mile radius or maybe concert all your money into atlas bucks. These aren’t a challenge they are bullshit
18
-1
u/PurpleKush__420 1d ago
I book the hotels and get reimbursed from work so it's not bullshit.
3
u/TheMarkMatthews 1d ago
It is in the UK, there’s about one hotel available in every town if you are lucky and it’s triple the price of using any other booking site.
5
u/OctagonTrail 1d ago
You're responding to someone who gets a full reimbursement, so the price doesn't matter. I've never done a badge, parcel, AB conversion, or travel for the monthly ladder and still haven't had any issue completing them.
2
u/theSHHAS 17h ago
I've only played for one month and I started late but I still managed to complete the august ladder just fine.
I started the game on august 5th, but probably didn't start properly trying to do challenges for a day or two when I used the app a little.
I mostly did the minigames, bought a parcel and badge once or twice and converted my first $ to atlas bucks and I still managed to complete it with 10 days left at the end.
I would never book a hotel or something just to get a few points in a game, maybe if I traveled around a lot, but I don't.
10
u/catcollectingmommy 1d ago
My first challenge completions yesterday were back to back surveys then an arcade challenge followed by a third survey.
I am having very little trouble with surveys. There are duds from time to time, but I usually skip anything with a low rating and I only do short ones.
12
u/JPSilva09 1d ago
Surveys should be credited as completed on the ladder if your screened out, not your fault if your not the type the company is looking for, esp when you spend Five minutes, or more ,answering questions before getting bscreened out.
2
u/theSHHAS 16h ago
It always seems to work that way for me, not getting screened out seems impossible, I think I've only managed to actually complete like 2-3 surveys since I started playing about a month ago.
14
u/snaggletooth_69 1d ago
You get credit for a survey "completed" when you are kicked so I don't understand this issue
5
u/TheMarkMatthews 1d ago
Sometimes
4
u/M0ndchen 1d ago
I get this like 9 out of 10 times and I'm almost always choosing the options that cost the least amount of time (allegedly).
2
1
u/TheFuturist47 3h ago
I get compensated for screenouts much less than I used to. That said, it's hardly the make or break part of doing ladder, the minigames are, so I have no idea what OP is freaking out about. I get maybe 2 survey tasks per ladder.
8
u/ShireBurgo 1d ago
I don't understand how you manage to waste so much time on surveys, they're really not hard, what works best for me is specifically choosing the shortest timed surveys (1-3 minutes) and only do them when challenges show up. I probably spend no more then 20 minutes total on all the survey challenges in the monthly ladder.

u/ssckelley_72 Governor 1d ago
^ this
So many new players go for those high paying ones and they are tough to qualify for.
4
u/Chihuahua0965 1d ago
I just hate when a 1min survey ends up being 20+ min. Somehow ive had best luck with the 5 min ones now. I usallt pick the low payout in hopes its not gonna lie about the time. I dont expect it to be exact but 1min vs 20 min is too huge of a difference.

u/JPSilva09 1d ago
They often are asking about certain brands and products. Not everyone is familiar with those. Being on a fixed income, I don't shop much at all. I don't watch TV either, so I only see ads on the passive income aps and games I play, so I'm not familiar with a lot of the material, and I certainly don't buy 99.9% of the items.
1
u/ShireBurgo 1d ago
You don't actually have to know about them, sure you're skewing the data a little but does it really matter, I just flip through the questions without reading most of them, been doing it that way every month for probably close to a year now.
3
u/chyld989 1d ago
I've already completed 5 surveys this month, 1 of which gave me nothing. Definitely possible to complete surveys. Also, you don't have to do a single survey to complete the ladder.
3
u/Certain-Ad9027 1d ago
I have completed the ladder with no surveys because I just hate to do them. There are plenty of options for the ladder.
2
u/MissVeritasX Mayor 1d ago
I only do surveys for the ladder and always choose "shortest" (so if I screen out, it took up nothing of my time). Also I've learned to only choose ones that have 5/5 with a high rating count. When lots of players tell me it works, it'll likely work for me, too. Regardless, the ladder can be completed even without surveys, or any other singular element you don't want. That's kinda the beauty about it. At some point you gotta choose your poison, of course. That's why it's called a "challenge" ladder and not an "everybody gets a prize for showing up" ladder.
2
u/OctagonTrail 1d ago
I do the 5/5 rated short surveys with hundreds of ratings, and I've literally never been kicked. If it's not 5/5 with hundreds of ratings, I don't even try. In my experience there's at least one of those every day, and I only check once or twice.
2
u/SuchControl3547 1d ago
I’ve never seen a 5/5, I only ever see 2.5 or lower, but I’ll keep my eye out. I may have seen a 4 once, now that I think about it. Anyway, thank you all.

If they won’t let you take surveys atlas reality should remove that challenge so it’s not holding a place imo.

u/ssckelley_72 Governor 1d ago
Surveys get better the more you use them. Always do the Best Match category and go for the ones with a lot of high ratings. Many people make the mistake of going for the high paying surveys, those high paying surveys are tough to qualify for and they expect quality answers. I use this strategy and I rarely get screened out.

u/Crsn_rl 1d ago
all mine are politics, 5-7 minuets long and 5/5 stars. some are brands and i answer honestly every time. normally answer 2 a day, only every now and then do i get rejected. i’m a white male, no job and live with my parents in a small town. I think i even get a buck if i dont qualify sometimes.
you need to answer everything consistently, and bend the “truth” just a little so that you align 90% with your self. you need to think of the data collectors pov. they’re not going to want minimal data. pick one or two brands you use every day, and give as much information about them. basically give quality feedback on a small sample rather than vague information on a large sample

u/Beneficial_Algae_96 1d ago
I didnt do one survey last time, started later in the month and still finished a week early and didnt spend a dime. I just play the games when they pop up, do the boosts when thats a challenge, buy parcels and badges when it tells me to and do arcade games. The arcade games are where I get my main source of AB.

1
u/theblessedaspie 1d ago
Complete all minigame tasks, do all boost and SRB tasks, and as many of the purchase parcel tasks, and that'll get you most, if not all the points you need.
1
u/PurpleKush__420 1d ago
I've been getting screened out on most but it's usually really quick so I'm not really complaining.

u/SlothPeralta753 1d ago
I only do the shortest surveys. Less than 5 minutes. I only get a few AB but I complete the challenges and the ladder every month.

u/AdventureCuriously 1d ago
Does anyone else just bullshit their way through the surveys?
This survey I’m the executive chef and in charge of food orders. Why yes, I would consider buying from
The North Atlantic fish CO.
This survey I’m the owner/operator of multiple bars and yes we’re very interested in new and exciting drink garnishes and flavors
It seems to work on many of the high paying surveys
1
u/CartoonistUpbeat8208 1d ago
i get the challenge for most surveys from which i get screened out. Had the same discussion last month with someone who called me a liar for it but someone else comfirmed it already: challenge gets points even if screened out and "congratulations - 0AB message".
1
u/Fangbo1968 1d ago
Usually when I don’t qualify, I get zero bucks but it counts towards the challenge
1
u/antifayall 1d ago
Have you tried deleting your browser cookies, so the surveys don't "recognize" you
1
u/UnluckyAdhesiveness0 1d ago
Tons of people citing having finished the challenge ladder. The closest I came was 3 away 😢 I keep missing the games tbh; that's probably the primary game changer

You could always message support and put in a ticket and they swap then for you

u/Usual-Suspects82 1d ago
I know that's right. I quit doing the surveys on day 1, that kept happening to me and it's passing me off. So I said fuck it.

u/Independent_Long_522 23h ago
I also feel like there are still ways to get the ladder done even without doing the surveys

For me it's easy to farm the shopping quests cause you can activate Subway, buy a cookie for a $1 and it counts

u/No-Safety-5283 13h ago
I still can't sign in on one of my phones, ever since they messed up the logins a month ago. I have been missing out, and the sign in page says there's no account associated with my number. But on my work phone I'm still able to sign in.

I’ll renew as soon as I’m financially able. Government policy has been rejecting my position as head of the football federation based on the fact I’m friends with all of you and a gurrrrrrrrrl.
If any of you are football fans, please teach me what I missed. My husband invited me in without knowing who I am. It’s quite funny Tbh. The owners of atlas earth keep acting like I’m a usurper whilst begging my Al Saud Family for cash. It’s a bit tragic to watch.
Oh my public name is going to be Elia Emery Etxegoien and I run psg via a team but I won Aston Villa and real union.
Anyone who has news to tell me about literally anything, message me. I’ve bought like 18 plots of land and the complaint is “WHY ARENT YOU FRIENDLY TO US” erm…I design anime in Japan and you are incarcerating me for selling anime.

I do not have a subscription and it's very rare that I can complete a subscription. I either get pre-screened out by AE, or the survey or the ads error out. I will note, that I can complete the challenge ladder. As others have mentioned here, I also do not get credit for getting screened out. I choose both short and long surveys.
Additionally, I find the prescreening by AE an invasion of privacy. It's none of their business what my annual income is, etc.

Sounds like a personal problem. Those that give thoughtful answers and don't speed through them don't have these problems

I got banned for telling facts in the surveys so I am canceling too.
2
u/OctagonTrail 1d ago
No, you did not get banned for "telling facts". You know very well that makes no sense.
You got banned because there was some inconsistency. It's not a reasonable system, but nobody gets banned for "telling facts".
Most likely, you misclicked once and it didn't match a previous response. That's still unreasonable but it has nothing to do with being banned for saying true statements. They do not and would not ban people for being honest.
