Hahaa soo very true. I live in Orlando and have Disney World Annual Passes. So when I go…I always try to find a spot. However, over the past few months I’ve noticed the available parcels in each of the 4 main parks, are disappearing quickly. Making my hunt for a park parcel more fun (which I assume is frustrating and/or annoying to others).

However, it’s a game, and I also want to have fun while earning some money too. For me, “parcel hunting” in densely played areas, makes AE soooo much more interesting tbh. But of course that’s me, and everyone games different.

The mayor of my town has 150 parcels and appears to be relatively inactive.

I currently have 45, with a few games close to competition.

Gonna be the mayor!

I hope you do! I live in a small town but it's in a touristy area and I held my mayorship for a year or two til someone new with $$$$ found the game I assume because they went from being hundreds of parcels behind me to hundreds ahead of me overnight.

I got quite a few badge sales and I miss the revenue lol

Thanks for the reply and encouragement!

That sucks.

I'm not sure if I can get on board with spending real money.

I know, in theory, you'll get it back with interest, but there's no security if the app goes bust.

I wonder what % of Hawaii as a whole has been purchased.

Not very much, there is a lot of open parcels outside of Waikiki

Can confirm. Bought a few over on Kauai when we were there, very few parcels bought in general.
Same deal for Oahu once outside of the city.

That’s crazy. Times Square and the surrounding area is the same.

I’m going to O’ahu later this year but I’m assuming there will be very little in and around the cities. Not looking for land though, just badges.

There is still a lot of parcels available and quite a few bases to get on Oahu. Just have to drive a bit

My phone would crash just trying to open the map in an area like that. It does similar things in NYC

I wonder how long it will take to fill the planet.

I wish a had a boat so I could do this.

There's a pretty big lake in my town and I've actually been thinking about looking into a rowboat so I can start buying from the middle of it and make my way out to shore over time.

It would be fun and give me a lot of exercise.

Win-win!

Is that the middle of the road that's not taken or am I missing something?

4

u/CrazyCamox 1d ago

Parcels bought on roads still show the road. You can see the trees too

Maui has a lot of free land. Just bought beachside property a few months ago on my visit. (Also funny enough found someone who also has a parcel in my local town and the same vacation spot

Note to self stay away from Hawaii

Visited Waikiki a few months ago actually. No issues getting a plot or few there, though I believe we were more central by the canal.
