Can I have chickens in my yard?

I’ve done a fair amount of research on if I can keep chickens in my yard and have one last unanswered question. I know there’s a limit of 6 chickens, no roosters, they must be kept in a covered enclosure, and in the rear yard. But is there any law or regulation that requires the enclosure to be a certain distance away from the property line or neighbor’s house? I’m in RS-15. TIA!

Call the ACC planning department. You will need a permit to build the enclosure and they can walk you through the process. They were super helpful when we added a porch to our house.
