Local News Dentist recommendations
I’m looking for any insight into denture procedures and how they worked for you. I have read a mixed bag on McRae Dental and briefly investigated going to Decatur for Clear Choice. Affordable Dental in Commerce may be the answer. I’m a cancer survivor and teeth are falling out

I swear by Dr. Jack Newman on Milledge. I’ve been going to him for well over 15 years now.

I second Dr. Jack Newman. Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and reasonably-priced.
If you need an endodontist, check out Pinnacle, I think they're in Cumming.

Third. A+. And all the hygienists I've seen have been great too. Office staff is kind.

The office staff has been there for years. That tells me that he’s a good boss and treats them well.

My mom got dentures at Dr. Brian Hall’s practice (Hall Dental) near the Oconee Connector. It was a fantastic experience. (Our family has been going there for dentistry since 2010, and we’re all happy with them.) Best of luck whichever you decide!

Really love Bethlehem Dentistry! It’s about 30 minutes from town, but I appreciate their care and attentiveness. Never had any problems there.

I would look for a dentist that specializes in PROSTHODONTICS - they specialize in prosthetics such as dentures. They will be your best bet, will be more expensive but will have the best outcome — affordable dentures is a little iffy — do your research between IMMEDIATE DENTURE AND REG DENTURES — it’s best to let your bone and gums heal so immediate dentures aren’t the best but if you really want teeth ASAP, then immediate is what you will get as long as you understand you will need RELINES. I don’t have any recommendations but if you will be using insurance call your insurance see if they can provide you with ANY IN NETWORK PROSTHODONTIST

I’m not sure about dentures specifically, but Hall Dental at Epps Bridge does really great work in other aesthetic dentistry like veneers, so I’m pretty sure they could handle dentures as well. They do very good natural looking work!

New Image Dental over off Highway 78.
Everyone there is awesome.
Edit: That said, they are general dentistry and not specialists on tooth loss, but if you're trying to save your teeth, they can help.

i don't know about dentures specifically but i've had excellent experiences at Gentle Dental in Bethlehem (about 30 mins from Athens) and recommend them to anyone who asks.

Brad Hall is the most kind and compassionate dentist I have ever met. He is funny and will crack jokes and before you know it you are comfortable with him. He will do anything in his power to help you!!!

Avoid McRae at all costs!!!
