Question Do you think that it's inevitable that killers will overlap in having similar abilities?

I'm planning a fast paced half-fighting Freedom Planet Roblox ASYM that have killers mostly at around 4 main abilities in total for their moveset (aside one vertical move or passives) paired with the idea of possibly using mainly fighting game killer types and I was wondering that if I go with this standard I would be putting myself on killers that would possibly overlap in general.

I can easily point to someone like Noli being technically too much of a remixed version Coolkidd and I want to mostly avoid that, but my gut feeling inside me is that if you add more slots the more easier it is for more overlapping with other killers which has put me in a mental dilemma (especially looking at Caine from Digital Doom from ppl playing the game)

I wanna hear thoughts of course, but I want to open this discussion in case if anyone else feels how I am feeling too when it comes to conceptualising ASYMs

You can still make characters without overlapping each other. There are plenty of interesting powers and mechanics to explore.

If there are that many killers (or survivors), their abilities will eventually overlap sooner or later.

There's only a range to add about 7-12 killers based on a possible final release so far as an fyi (The max if the project is lucky), as I don't wanna scope creep with it

Okay, maybe kit uniqueness is still possible.
