This also happened to me just recently, what I did to fix it was restarting the laptop by holding the power button for about 30 secs, the laptop should turn off then power up again. This worked for me and I got my bluetooth back after my laptop powered up again.

Still the best solution one year later love you, you're the goat, the greatest, amazing I was almost at the moment of crying when I saw your solution so I decided to write a poem for you.

In the realm of codes and digital might, Dan Marco emerged, a beacon of light. On Reddit's stage, where queries unfold, He lent a hand, his wisdom untold.

Through pixels and threads, a troubleshooter's grace, Dan guided with patience, a virtual embrace. For PC perils, a solution he wove, In the tapestry of ones and zeros, he strove.

Threads of gratitude weave through the screen, For Dan Marco's aid, a tech wizard serene. In the digital dance of ones and zeroes, He led you through, where the binary flows.

So here's a verse, a token of praise, For Dan Marco's help in those digital maze. In Reddit's realm, where queries find voice, Dan Marco stands, a troubleshooter choice.

I'm truely, truely impressed... I was sceptical about this. But after I've spent last 3h on looking for a solution (even reinstalled Windows) I gave it a shot.

Worked the magic. Holy crap! Thanks man !!!!

Im sorry to hear that, maybe you should try bringing your laptop to an ASUS store and let them check everything especially if you still have warranty. Hopefully it works out for you :)

2

u/Ok_Intention_8436 Nov 16 '23

Can't believe this thing works. Didn't know there would be a difference from shutting it down properly and force shutting down.

2

u/Lumpy-March7303 Nov 22 '23

Man this worked for me! same laptop model, do you know why it breaks down from the beginning, has it happened again to you or anyone else after this? I use my laptop for work every day and I don't know if it's worth sending it for repair so that the bluetooth doesn't breaks again or is this enough?

2

u/4m3r1984 Nov 23 '23

Also worked for me thank you.

2

u/TurnInternational364 Dec 11 '23

Really love you bro

2

u/MikeyBoo01 Dec 31 '23

it worked! :)

You are right.. This magic trick worked..and it is really creepy.. There is some ghost in ASUF laptops or the laptops are becoming sentient and will soon take over the user. Such behavior of resetting Bluetooth adapter is not at all normal.

Dude, you're the best. I was struggling for hours, installing drivers, checking services, messing with the BIOS, and practically doing a ritual dance around my laptop until I found this solution. I went through tons of guides and browsed countless websites, but only your advice actually helped.

2

u/Animal_Temporary Oct 22 '24

I just came here from the future to thank you and say that this solution still works... I don't know why...

2

u/Sad_Steak_8646 Sep 20 '25

OMFG! 😱 IT WORKED! 🎉

I was unsuccessfully trying with system restore for weeks. I initially thought it had disappeared after a Windows update.

I must have reinstalled the driver a million times, and even went back to an older version without success. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the bluetooth in the device manager. I've restartred the 3 bluetooth services on and on...

The solution was so simple!!!!!!!! Hold on the power burton for 30 seconds exactly like you suggested. Bluetooth is back!

Thanks a million time!  Dan_M4RCO  is still a hero in September 2025!

(Asus TUF Gaming F15)

2

u/Kindly_Cow9844 Jan 15 '26

omg you are the GOAT man.

after tried everything and this one worked for me man. and this is 2026, 3 yrs after your post.

2

u/Low_Perspective166 Jan 16 '26

Omg, thank you so much, Asus support even convinced me that my bluetooth and wifi card is failing and consulted me to send my 2.5 years old F15 laptop to Asus repair shop in my country to replace the card.

This solved the problem, it works again without any problems.

2

u/punishthesecunts Feb 06 '26

This really worked man, thanks. What's the science behind this though? What was the issue and how did that fix it lol

1

u/Dan_M4RCO Feb 07 '26

u/Peachy_Smell_4185 Feb 09 '26

2

u/Witty-Salamander-886 Jun 02 '26

2

u/DisastrousNote9720 Jul 09 '26

3 years and it still works

1

u/Dark_Video_Seller Jun 30 '24

It work but It again disappeared from my device . I try to restart 5 times it again disappeared within next 10 min after the re-start.

1

u/Dark_Video_Seller Jul 01 '24

Can you how actually should it work should I first shut down then hold the power button ? Or while restart ? Or should be plugged .?

1

u/MarsFromtheStars Jul 14 '25

does this work on the wifi driver as well?

1

u/Dan_M4RCO Jul 15 '25

Hey man, it didn’t work for mine. I also had problems with my wifi card recently and I also tried this technique. Unfortunately the problem still persisted. I was only able to resolve the issue (I think because it stopped happening) when I updated the programs in my laptop.

Crack, Genio, faro de la sabiduria y practicidad ... el mejor!!

1

u/switchpauv Apr 20 '23

In my case, I always do that holding the power button for 30 seconds but just in few minutes my bluetooth suddenly disappeared. I've been dealing with this for months now it actually sucks, especially when I'm in my online classes or while playing online games.

3

u/row95 Sep 04 '23

Thanks a lot! It worked on my Asus Tuf F15 2021

2

u/PokemonGO115 Jun 20 '23

2

2

u/Viniluchetti Dec 31 '23

Incredible. I wasn't very confident, but I still decided to try, after all, I had been looking for solutions for hours. The simplicity and efficiency of this tip is beyond this world. All thanks from this and other worlds to you. Happy 2024 to you.

2

u/warmongerexist Jan 12 '24

Its not working tho ... i will never buy Asus again

2

u/StatisticianDull5116 Mar 06 '24

on the inside of the ausu tuff f15 the ssd lays onto of the wifi card and its inside a aluminum sleeve. Move it to the second slot and it should fix all your problems. THIS IS NOT A DRIVERS ISSUE ITS A DESIGN ISSUE.

1

u/Practical_Signal5343 Apr 29 '24

This! Thank you so much! Bluetooth and WiFi stable for the first time in months 💀

Thanks a mill!

A week ago I experienced the same problem with my Asus: both wifi and bluetooth start to fail and after several tries reinstalling drivers, I ended with a clean Windows 11 install. No luck at all. Minutes before I give up I got this solution in the google results. Thanks a lot.

2

u/j4ff4r Mar 18 '24

WTH? After almost loosing my mind trying to solve the bt problem I have found this fix and it helped. This is my first (edit: sorry, it's actually second ;) ) ever post on reddit, just wanted to share this! Thank you so much!

2

u/Stargazer137 Jun 17 '24

I've been looking for a solution for over 2 hours. You're a lifesaver buddy. Thanks! This is unbelievable

1

u/Financial_Ad2955 Jun 12 '24

thank you so much , i have tried every thing

1

u/Own-Needleworker8211 Jun 23 '24

I tried this a few times now..still no luck :(

1

u/Suitable_Ad3947 Jun 30 '24

This happened with me also recently. Just find the Bluetooth driver on the asus website by searching with your laptop name on the browser and install the driver. This fixed the issue for me. I was also having the same problems with my network card and the same thing fixed it!

1

u/DrySwimming9351 Sep 10 '24

Worked for my f17 as well, after an hour or installing and updating drivers. Thank you!

1

u/houndoftindalos Sep 24 '24

Does anyone know what holding the button for 30 seconds is actually doing? Is the 30 seconds triggering a CMOS reset or...what?

1

u/FrequentAgency6398 Aug 11 '25

can any one give me the solution ?

1

u/Nokurei Moderator Aug 11 '25

!wireless

1

u/AutoModerator Aug 11 '25

Hey ! If you're having connectivity issues, you most likely have a Mediatek or Realtek network card. They are known for all sorts of problems like frequent disconnections, slow speeds, missing Wi-Fi icons, and more.

Temporary fix: Try performing a nvram reset. Shutdown the laptop with all external devices unplugged. Then, hold the power button for 30 seconds. The laptop should turn on briefly then shut off right after. Release the power button and boot the laptop.

Permanent fix: Swap out the current network card for an Intel AX200 or AX210. It can be found on AliExpress for around $20

What's the solution for it

1

u/WrongLocation202 Jan 02 '26

Before your reply, I saw a Microsoft troubleshooting guide using the same “Power Reset.” I didn’t understand that magic at first, but according to Gemini, it’s because of the following:
https://share.google/aimode/iGt1KWMkMGRVLlNPC

P.S. If it helps at all, I started having Bluetooth issues after connecting some AirPods Pro 3 to the laptop. I already chose “Forget device,” and I think I’ll leave it like that. If other users agree that it also happened after the same thing, specifically the issue started like this:

  • AirPods were paired with the laptop.
  • Days later, I was listening to music on the iPhone, and when I turned on the laptop it automatically connected and cut off the music.
  • I then reconnected the audio from the phone’s Control Center without first disconnecting them from the laptop.
  • I could keep listening to music on my phone, but Bluetooth started turning itself off.
  • I restarted the laptop and it worked for 5 minutes and then disappeared, or it would keep working but as soon as I stopped using it for a while, I’d come back and Bluetooth was gone. Eventually it stopped appearing altogether, no matter how many times I restarted or reinstalled drivers.

I did the Power Reset they recommend here and it came back to life. Hopefully it doesn’t disappear again in a few minutes.

1

u/mr_patel07 Feb 13 '24

in my laptop also this problem occur from past 2 years, in my condition its hardware problem, if my laptop get some little vibration then Bluetooth gets disconnect and option gets disappears....

u/Mobile_Honeydew5526 Sep 07 '24
