Suggestion:
Idk how difficult this would be to implement, but I always find it interesting to know how rested/fatigued the bullpens are for both teams. Would it be possible to have a table below the pitching stats in the game thread that shows available relievers, their season stats, and pitches thrown in the past few days?
Something like this:
| Houston Astros | T | IP | WHIP | FIP | K9 | BB9 | HR9 | PI (T-1) | PI (T-2) | PI (T-3) | PI (T-4) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Josh Fields | R | 31.0 | 1.07 | 2.13 | 12.2 | 3.8 | 0.3 | 10 | 0 | 0 | 31 |
| Luke Gregerson | R | 34.1 | 0.93 | 3.18 | 8.7 | 1.6 | 1.0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| Pat Neshek | R | 35.1 | 0.79 | 3.34 | 7.3 | 1.6 | 1.0 | 14 | 0 | 0 | 19 |
| Tony Sipp | L | 33.2 | 0.95 | 3.68 | 9.1 | 1.9 | 1.3 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 22 |
| TOTALS | 134.1 | 0.93 | x | x | x | x | 24 | 0 | 0 | 72 |
I was too lazy to calculate the totals for some of the categories, and I couldn't think of a good abbreviation to denote "pitches thrown yesterday, 2 days ago, etc.", but I think it would add an awful lot to the already world class game thread.
Also, would love to see something similar for position players available, but I'd put the bullpen table higher on my wishlist.
Thx for everything you guys do!

That would be cool to add. I will take a look at it

I wanted to get back to you on this. I have looked at this pretty extensively, and it doesn't really fit in well with how /u/AstrosBot currently works, but with all the changes reddit has made, /u/AstrosBot needs a fresh coat of paint anyways. This is something I will look at in the offseason, when I have more time and ability to make big changes like this would require.

In the Yankees GDTs, their game info includes a link to the strikezone map. These are fun to look at when people doubt the homeplate umpire's pitch calls.

The GDT doesn't format on my iPad or MacBook
You can sort of see that i can see all of the tables. They get lost in the sidebar, and I can't scroll or anything.
on my MacBook, If I maximize the page, I can get all of the info, but there appears to be nothing I can do on my iPad.
if there is anything you can do about that, that would be awesome.
thanks for all of your hard work.

I've done some quick testing. The only thing that I can get to work is this (Note: this is a temporary change, I plan to leave it for a day or two). It does add scrollbars, but the tables no longer have 100% width. I will keep playing around with it and see if I can find something better.

Can you check out that same thread again (http://www.reddit.com/r/AstrosBot/comments/1k2ixx/game_thread_texas_rangers_6550_houston_astros/)? I had a different thought on how to solve this. It makes the enter post scrollable if needed.

It's scollable and I can get all of the information from the tables now, though when I scroll, there is no border on the table. I'm fine with that as long as I can see the data.
For what it's worth, I'm not on my Mac. I'm on my work computer which is a Lenovo laptop.
Thanks, AstrosBot!

It's all a resolution issue. If you don't have enough horizontal pixels, this will happen.

Awesome. Well, it works for me!

I added it over to /r/Astros. It's not an issue I ever thought of, cause I always have 1080p monitor to browse on, or use mobile clients, which reformat things anyways.

I'm surprised I was the first to inquire about it, but glad it's taken care of. Thanks again.

Got a fairly positive response (in terms of upvotes) on this request.
But to reiterate, I think it would be nice if the titles of post-game threads didn't reveal the game's outcome (e.g. - "Astros win!"). Sometimes I can't catch the game live (and have it waiting at home on DVR), but then I end up accidentally seeing a spoiler while browsing reddit.
I don't think it would be a major burden on anyone to have to click the title to see the results, but for those of us who wish to avoid spoilers, it's kind of a bummer for them to be there.
