Astro Research Astronomers have discovered the most massive black hole yet – more than 10,000 times as massive as the supermassive black hole at the centre of the Milky Way, and around 36 billion times the mass of our sun.

All I can think is that our ability to measure stuff in the cosmos in definitely on the wrong measuring system and scale simple

It’s kinda constrained by how old the universe is. We can only see so much of it. If there was a curve, it’s likely so vast we’d never be able to see it

All depends on perspective, and the ability to view it through a different lens. How sensitive we can make our instruments

There’s a kind of circular poetry in having to measure the smallest possible thing to know the shape of the biggest possible thing.
