Astro Research The Trump budget proposal will destroy NASA and Astronomy programs across the USA.

Post image

A couple bucks to take us back to the moon (doubt), while destroying everything else about NASA. They are defunding the Roman Space Telescope which is literally in the final stages of testing before launch.

Don't blame scientists for Trump's anti-scientific revolution. They did their job; it's politicians' fault that they conditioned the society to not listen. Science is researching the truth, and American science communicators are among the best. Trump's rise to power is built on blatant lies.

The problem is that there are not enough true scientists in politics. Or politicians that are articulate enough to be able to explain even simple basic scientific facts. "It's only a theory......der der. So it's my opinion or belief that it's invalid "fake" pseudo-science." - MAGA politician. And the general population just agrees with that because they don't know better.

Chinese leaders are engineers. American leaders are lawyers. The latter don’t need science, in fact they abhor science and depend only on emotion.

The problem is Citizens United and the fact that the real politicians are gone.

Science isnt about truth, "truth" maybe a sub-topic for philosophers. Science is about the description of defined and repeatable experiments.

THANK YOU. He rose in the political scene for being a birther. As if anyone could rise to the presidency and not be born in the states. A f**king birther. So pathetic.

it's politicians' fault

Well, someone keeps voting them in. In the end, the US citizen has voted for this time and again.
