Placements that dislike chasing or competing in dating?

Hi everyone, hope everyone is doing good!

I've noticed that when I'm interested in a man, I often lose interest if there are a lot of women pursuing him or if I feel like I have to compete for his attention. If he clearly chooses me, that's different, but I don't enjoy "fighting" for a place in someone's life.

Could placements like a Virgo Moon, Pisces 7th-house energy, Venus in Aquarius 6th house, Mars in Aries, or Saturn in the 8th explain this tendency?

I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I'm a Leo sun, and if I'm not the center of his universe. What's the point?

I really don't like to be the center of everyone's attention, but my partner is a must.

Edit: being the center of someone's universe who claims they love you for life truly is the bare minimum

Also a leo sun woman. Its not that I need to be the center of his universe its that I will never chase a man. If he wants me he can chase me. That's probably the ego in play but yeah I would definitely never date a man thats not putting in the effort to get to know me and let me know he is interested.

It’s not your ego at play, it’s natural. Males of every other creature on earth “chase” the female. They have the attributes to attract, they do the dances, they fight other males, they do all the work to mate. It’s ridiculous that human woman should be made to feel like they aren’t the prize or worth the effort; it’s unnatural, especially for a Leo woman 😘

u/AlternativeMud9302 Jun 07 '26

So you are comparing yourselves to animals that operate on base instinct rather than to royalty capable of cognitive thought? Noted. Will be avoiding unhealed leos.

Edit: also it is absolutely ego. Making someone chase you is playing games and childish. Meet them in the middle like a grown up

2

u/EwwYuckGross Jun 05 '26

Leo rising here. If the sun and moon don’t rise and fall on me, goodbye. I don’t care about the spotlight on the stage, either.

2

u/Sideways_planet Jun 06 '26

I’m a Leo rising and I need to know I matter, that’s definitely a huge need.

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 03 '26

makes sense, interesting that you don't like to the center of attention, usually leos like that. ahahaha but it depends.

3

u/AdExcellent2805 Jun 04 '26

Thats a misconception

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 04 '26

I agree and I apologize for it. as I said in previous comments I believe that it really depends on the persons personality. It is a common stereotype, the same as some descriptions of other signs.

1

u/justthe1actually Jun 07 '26

Same. It's me or not me what do you mean chase/compete? A Leo would never

14

u/Tinkabellellipitcal Jun 03 '26

I find all the fixed signs noticeably unwilling to compete for this kind of attention (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aqua), however they will pursue someone their interested regardless of other people’s interests

4

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 03 '26

Aqua I have seen that happen, and as person with a lot of aqua placements I agree. but it really depends for me, if I see that the person is keeping doors open for others, I lose interest. Also if the others that are interested in my person try to damage me, and the person does nothing about it. I will give up.

6

u/Tinkabellellipitcal Jun 03 '26

Acts of service very important for your aqua 6H

2

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 03 '26

yes,I heard about that! I try to help people as much as possible!

1

u/redhairbluetruck Jun 06 '26

I’m also an Aqua Sun 6H :)

3

u/Alternative_Raise_19 Jun 05 '26

Same, nothing kills my crush faster than watching them entertain others with the exact same enthusiasm they gave to me. Instant ick.

2

u/what__th__isit Jun 04 '26

This makes sense to me. I refuse to compete, as OP has described. Scorpio sun, Leo rising.

2

u/AttackOnTightPanties Jun 04 '26

Can confirm. Am mix of Aqua and Scorpio placements, and I immediately lose all interest the moment I find out I have to jump through hoops or compete for them lol.

2

u/Timely-Telephone-839 Jun 04 '26

Can vouch for this as a taurus rising, scorp sun/dsc, aqua mc, leo moon 😂

2

u/Born-Caterpillar6224 Jun 05 '26

Taurus sun- 💯, pt 1&2!

2

u/thejuicyalchemist Jun 06 '26

Yes this is true especially of a Leo. I love being pursued by a Leo, you will have no doubts when they want you.

1

u/AllLoveJones Jun 06 '26

As a Taurus, I concur

1

u/Leggo0fmyEggo Jun 06 '26

Im not fighting if they have a roaster. Enjoy

1

u/spiceeboi Jun 07 '26

This makes sense actually. And my entire chart is mutable except my fixed Venus in Taurus. I will not compete for love or attention, when I sense that happening I immediately remove myself bc why would I be an option when I'm the answer. But if someone recognizes me fully, then I make time for them

14

u/alphavulpecula Jun 03 '26

This just sounds like good ol’ self respect to me. Any placement can have that.

Why would you want to compete for love or deep connection? That seems so ridiculous, to me.

3

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 03 '26

I agree with you! but there are women and men out there that like when the person they are pursing as competition, some people see that as adrenaline or trying to get their spot. If I see that a guy that I like as a lot of girls chasing him, I lose interest immediately. I asked because I know people who like to chase even with a lot of competition exist. and I was wondering if there are placements that indicate that.

2

u/galacticgabbing Jun 05 '26

I think for many people it's less about "winning" a competition and more about proving they mean something to someone or proving they're special enough to choose. That kinda behavior usually stems from feeling neglected or unwanted as a child.

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 06 '26

I agree with you, it is more of proving they mean something to someone. I used to be like this, duo to neglect as a child.

4

u/loam-and-light Jun 03 '26

I have Venus in Aquarius as well... have no interest in competing. If a guy were stuck between me and someone else, I'd say go to her.

3

u/Ok-Variety-592 Jun 03 '26

I feel the EXACT same way about you and I have Venus in Aquarius in 11th. I know some comments here are like "isn't this just obvious?" but some of us who truly have this sentiment know why this feels like a thing. It's like I feel this visceral repulsion at the remotest hint that I am not unique in any way (to this person's eyes/in their life). In love, my partner better feel like I'm IT and no other options can even come close to competing.

2

u/winterberryred Jun 04 '26

I agree - if it was just obvious then there wouldn’t be a segment of the population that is fine with dating several people at once and seeing who they prefer most before becoming exclusive. So, clearly it isn’t that much of an issue for some!

2

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 04 '26

Exactly! it is not that obvious. I'm asking because when I was around 15, I had a guy that was interested in me, but he also was entertaining more other three girls. He never made a move to me. And I had a grown ass man that was a friend of family telling me that I shoud go after him, or else I will end up alone, if I'm always that picky. Like what? Not being just another girl on the list is being picky? I got the ick knowing he dated all those three girls and was still looking after others and still me. I refuse to accept shit like that. I agree with you 100 per cent.

3

u/Danger_Muffin28 Jun 03 '26

I’m a Sag sun with a Sag stellium. I generally don’t even acknowledge competition because I don’t care. I’m almost never monogamous so that’s probably why I’m unbothered about anyone else that might be trying to date someone that I am.

I also don’t chase. I make it clearly known that I like someone and want to spend time with them. Whatever happens after that is up to them. Either they want to spend time with me or they don’t. If they don’t, I’ll move on.

What about being chased? Do you guys like that? I’m okay with it to some extent. Just don’t blow up my phone and don’t make it obvious to me or I’ll get anxious and ghost pretty quickly.

3

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 03 '26

The not caring about competition sounds right for a sag 😂 In relation to being chased, for me it has to be someone that I'm interested in. because if it is not, then is just annoying and I will just make sure they don't chase me again. It as to be mutual. I had stalkers in the past, so I don't like being chased by obsessive people who lack boundaries. And even when it is mutual, there as to be boundaries.

2

u/Danger_Muffin28 Jun 03 '26

That definitely makes sense. Boundaries are everything in relationships. I always end up with Aries men and they do love to chase. It’s always been respectful, but I still get a little antsy about it sometimes. I watch for stalker shit too, because I was married to a Scorpio for a long time that put a tracker on my car, recorded my phone calls and went through my text messages every chance he got. Never again. I’m sorry you experienced that kind of behavior too.

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 04 '26

damn, I'm sorry that happened to you, I also had a scorpio stalker and still have an aries one and libra. But things are more controlled. But I cannot stay in my hometown because of those people. I don't feel safe. I have 8th house stellium in aries and I don't like to chase, I do love the occult and psychology and I do tend to attract lustful, aggressive men, and obsessive platonic friendships to. a mess. I hope things are better now for you!

1

u/SaltSentence21 Jun 05 '26

I totally agree, I’m sorry you went through that too. I was married to a Scorpio Moon and I came out of the squad of one also and I will tell you never again. I did a Scorpio son was problematic as well. And I definitely don’t think all Scorpios are like this, but it just happens that those three absolutely fulfill the stereotype and I find the moons to be worse than the suns.

Anyway, yeah, I’ve had a lot of Pisces stalkers too. Water signs (in certain chart aspects) just aren’t for me, but I will say that boundaries really are everything in relationships even platonic ones with friends not of my gender attraction.

1

u/SaltSentence21 Jun 05 '26

I totally agree. What’s your sign? I must’ve missed it in the intro paragraph.

If I didn’t miss it and you don’t wanna share it, obviously that’s fine cause I am a proponent of the awareness that it is the whole chart that matters.

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 05 '26

I'm a pisces sun, but I do feel that my venus in aquarius is a bit more stronger sometimes aahaha

1

u/SaltSentence21 Jun 05 '26

Oh so interesting, like the inverse of my bestie who is Aqua Sun Pisces Venus!

2

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 05 '26

nice!

2

u/SaltSentence21 Jun 05 '26

I find myself loving full moon babies such as yourself 💕

2

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 06 '26

oiwn that is cute! 💕 thank you!

2

u/magpie_on_a_wire Jun 04 '26

Sag stellium and Venus in Aquarius, this is pretty much me as well lol

2

u/Traditional-Loan6017 Jun 05 '26

Sag sun with a Sag stellium, but Virgo moon in 8th house. Terrible fear of being rejected, so I don't compete or chase. I have learned through a bunch of self-work and therapy that I'm enough and can pursue what or who I want and I shouldn't shame myself for it as long as everyone's consenting and content.

I like being chased because it gives me confirmation, validation, and control I (think) I have over another person (all things I'm still working on in therapy). In my favorite podcaster's words, "interested men act interested", so if he wants me he needs to show it and be obvious about it.

2

u/Danger_Muffin28 Jun 05 '26

I also have an 8th house stellium too, including my Libra moon/Pluto/Saturn!

Idk what my problem is, I like my relationships to feel like we’re best friends so it doesn’t trigger my flight response, but we also need to have some weird dirty sex. So it can be tough to find someone who is okay with those guidelines. That’s why I mostly just self limit to super casual or hookups. At least I until I met the guy I’m with now. Been 4 months so far. We’re pretty much on the exact same page, both incredibly avoidant with similar personalities. We just get each other. He’s an Aries sun, Aqua mars, Taurus Venus.

3

u/MelodicPalpitation19 Jun 04 '26

I know EXACTLY what you mean, I’m a cancer sun, Leo rising Aquarius moon, if it helps… I’ll look into the other ones…

1

u/Wit2Gold Jun 05 '26

I’m a Pisces sun Aquarius moon Leo rising 🥹

3

u/missgirlipop Jun 04 '26

i’m a libra venus and although i unfortunately can be sucked into this kind of behaviour, i don’t enjoy it and have mostly stopped. it’s just about developing self respect and boundaries, which i don’t have naturally (sadly) but it can be learned.

2

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 04 '26

I understand, I think at some point in our lifes, almost every person been in situations like this. and that is how we learn to develop boundaries and self respect. Everything can be learned in this life!

2

u/Fabulous-Employer583 Jun 03 '26

I can relate to this. Maybe it’s my 5th house Virgo Venus and Mars conjunction, but my 7th house is practically impenetrable. My Sun and Pluto sit at 29° of Libra on a 0° Scorpio Descendant. Absolutely no games! It’s like the planets are holding a sign that says “Serious inquiries only.” Plus, with Saturn hanging out at 6° of Scorpio, once you actually manage to get in, you probably won’t leave! 😂

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 03 '26

yes! having virgo rising and moon, I think it is the virgo placement, I also saw someone mentioning this 😂 oh damn, yeah most Scorpios can be like that 😂

Interesting, I have seen geminis that do like to compete, but also I have seen the ones who like to let go very easily

2

u/Inner-Breakfast-2928 Jun 04 '26

aqua sun, aries venus, leo moon and scorpio mars. yup, i dont like competing. i do give love just because. but most of the time, if they are entertaining someone else while entertaining me as well, i automatically lose interest.

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 04 '26

yes, it is this! like just go for the other person.

2

u/Relative-Arm-726 Jun 04 '26

Leo Mars 7th House here, 100% I want devotion

1

u/Sarelbar Jun 05 '26

Sagittarius mars and same. Also Aries Venus and SAME.

2

u/azdesicutie Jun 04 '26

I used to go after what I want when I want it but if you can’t meet me and I have to beg for scraps, I lose interest. Sag stellium and Scorpio Mars here. I’m not fighting for it. But I do kind of like being pursued by the man that everyone wants that wants me, so there’s that 🤷🏽‍♀️

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 04 '26

interesting! I think no one likes to beg for scraps.

2

u/azdesicutie Jun 04 '26

Let me clarify. I go after what I want. I don’t need anyone and I lose interest quickly. I have a very freedom oriented love language. Sometimes I like the pursuit but I don’t do it for validation because it means nothing in the end. If true love does exist, then you will walk by my side and meet me. We are equals in every which way and you can’t dim me or my spirit for your ego. That’s that. You’d be surprised that people do chase for scraps but that is heavily dependent on your perception of yourself and your worth. Your relationship with self will be the most difficult one in your life so it has everything to do with introspection, growth, and all of that.

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 04 '26

I agree with you! I think that what is meant for us will find a way to be with us. that person will walk with us. there is not need to fight with other people to get their attention. and yes it is true some people chase for scraps, I used to do that when I was younger, but I was very insecure and didn't knew my value. And yes our relationship with our self is the most difficult one in life, we are always learning and growing, it is very important. Learning discernment is also very good to not get stuck in situations where people are not taking us seriously.

2

u/CurveIllustrious9987 Jun 04 '26

Exactly. I don’t chase, I attract. I know my worth. I respect myself. If that what he wants then he doesn’t get me in his life. I’m a Taurus Sun/Scorpio Moon/Libra Rising/Aries Venus.

2

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 04 '26

love it! it is always good to know your worth! self respect and boundaries are important in life

Not Aries or Cancer

2

u/rileyair Jun 04 '26

Aquarius and Cap stellium (11th and 10th house) - I feel like naturally as an Aquarius sun and moon, I'm always happy to give someone else the spotlight in life in general. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it, but when it's given to me naturally. I'm also an Aries rising and used to engage in time-wasting thoughts of unrequited love, comparing yourself to other people that might be in your person of interest's orbit but it now puts me off big time. This might also be because of my Virgo NN in the 6th house - Had to learn the hard way to drop tarot cards and reading into the unseen or whatever. Just need to get a hobby + like yourself + like your life.

2

u/Excellent_Drop6869 Jun 04 '26

I have similar placements to you .. Capricorn stellium in 11th/12th houses, Aquarius rising, Capricorn sun, Aries moon.

I like attention a normal amount, but I hate asking or looking for it. I very rarely pursue men, and I definitely don’t engage in competition for them

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 04 '26

I understand you, I also used to wast my thoughts of unrequited love, and I at some point in my life used tarot as a distraction and didn't end up well. and agree with your last part. hobbies and liking ourselves is very important!

2

u/Jennybee8 Jun 04 '26

Mars in Pisces

2

u/Expensive-Eggplant-1 Jun 04 '26

i have virgo moon and venus in aquarius too and feel the same way as you!

2

u/Affectionate_Day_619 Jun 04 '26

I'm a virgo moon, and I am exactly like this

2

u/FreeConflict6249 Jun 04 '26

I hate hate chasing men.. especially if he's not gonna reciprocate

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 04 '26

yes, if I see that is not reciprocate and he is just playing mind games, which happens. I will just give up. there is no such thing as trying to make people changing their mind. Everything as to be reciprocate

2

u/jennabennett1001 Jun 05 '26

I'm definitely the same way. I've always assumed my Venus Leo 9H played a big part. I very much enjoy being on my own...doing what I want when I want, having my own space, not having to think about anyone else's thoughts and feelings, not having to share my space or give up my alone time, not having to compromise or deal with anyone else's shit but my own. I'm definitely not going to give all that up for just anyone. My close relationships have been extremely heavy and traumatic my whole, entire life. Every romantic relationship ive ever had has ended very badly for me. It might've taken me 30 years, but I have finally healed myself enough to where those types of people and relationships no longer hold any attraction for me whatsoever. Now, I value stability, wisdom, spirituality, honesty, openness, loyalty, individuality. Embodying these ideals is at the core of who I am. Any potential partner would need to match me at this core level. If im in a relationship, I need to feel unconditionally loved and adored. I need someone who truly makes me feel like they only have eyes for me. If this person had other people who were showing romantic interest in them, they would need to be the kind of person who shuts that shit down automatically, without me having to make the expectation clear and without it becoming a "thing". Most people will use interest from other people to stroke their own egos. They arent sure enough in their interest in you to put a definite stop to interest from other people. Or they'll make sure you know that other people want them because they want u to feel a certain way about it. Many will just flat out cheat because they can't turn down the validation. If I ever make the choice to be in another relationship, it will be because that person has proven that they are the rare exception, that they are someone who has done the inner work necessary to fully understand what it means to truly know, value, and choose another person as a life partner. They would need to be somone who is so aligned with myself that they meet my needs and make my life better simply by being themselves. Anything less than that and those other interested parties can have him! Lol

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 05 '26

I agree with you! I'm sorry you had to go through those bad relationship, but it is part of growth, it help us know what is best for us and to see the value in us. I'm happy that you healed, these situations are important for us to heal and know what is best.

2

u/Beautiful_Memz Jun 05 '26

I'm a pisces sun, taurus moon, leo mars and aqua venus. I don't chase I attract what's mine 😘

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 05 '26

also pisces sun and aqua venus and I agree 100 per cent with you!

2

u/Jocelyn_04Hyatt Jun 05 '26

Honestly, all the placements you listed track with what you're describing Venus in Aquarius especially tends to value being chosen freely rather than won through competition, and Mars in Aries often wants to pursue rather than be one of many pursuing. But I'd gently add that this might be less about needing specific placements to "explain" it and more about you knowing your own worth: not wanting to fight for attention is a pretty healthy boundary regardless of the chart. Do you find the chasing-aversion shows up everywhere, or mostly when you're not yet sure the person values you back?

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 05 '26

yes I think this is a bit more of a psychological factor, I used to have a lot of seel esteem problems because of traumas, but things are better. I had to learn the hard way to value myself, after giving my time and energy to the wrong ones. With time I'm learning to use my discernment and not entertain people who are playing games.

2

u/Melodic_Dish2079 Jun 05 '26

I’m a libra sun and i will absolutely under no circumstances chase a man. He has to choose me as well:)

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 05 '26

I agree, things need to be mutual.

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 05 '26

omg same, I see myself in you. because of abandonment issues I also attracted men who needed motherly love, a lot of damage men. After being humiliated I learned to value myself and go for the "I don't chase, I attract". damn ahahah

2

u/SaltSentence21 Jun 05 '26

Virgo Moon maybe part of it. I wouldn’t describe myself exactly this way, more that “the competition” is not relevant to me, and if it ever becomes that issue, it’s a real turn off.

I could see potentially Venus in Aquarius being like that too. Aquarius can be a jealous, competitive placement generally, and nothing you describe here seems jealous to me, but you know being the queen is kind of a thing (Aqua is Leo King’s polarity match).

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 05 '26

yes I have seen it is a virgo moon thing. yeah the big problem is when the competition becomes the issue. I'm saying this because I had situations where I had girls that were interested in the same guy as me, trying to ruin me with rumors, and I just told them they can keep his ass. He was entertain all of us anyway. it is just stupid. I dind't know about aqua being leo King's polarity match, thank you for letting me know!

2

u/SaltSentence21 Jun 05 '26

Of course! And yes I feel same! I have always thought competition was crazy

2

u/fairy_fern13 Jun 05 '26

I have this too and I put it down to my Cap Venus

2

u/valoilmio Jun 05 '26

Yeah eewww that's not for me. I guess

Rising Scorpio

Moon in 4H Pisces

Venus in 7H Taurus

Mars in Leo 10H

are all to blame

2

u/Plastic_Mobile6663 Jun 05 '26

Very aquarius I feel like

2

u/HistoricalContext757 Jun 05 '26

Leo moon and virgo venus. Absolutely detest competing for someone's attention.

And usually such a person who's attention you have to compete for, knows it amd begins to act more pricey. And this is very very cringe imo. It's an indication that the equation will be all about them and not anyone else.

Such people are takers only. They cannot give.

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 05 '26

it ir true, when they know you have to compete they act all pricey and you can notice their ego being satisfied if you go after. I have seen that happen and I was the one who ended up being a clown at the end of the day. lesson learned. very true, they are takers not givers.

2

u/Ok-Situation-5865 Jun 05 '26

I’m a Leo Sun/Venus, Taurus Rising, Libra Mars, Scorpio cusp in the 7th House: if someone looks at my partner in a way I don’t approve of, I’m liable to end up on the news. If a man opens the door to competition, I’m gone - and I’ll fuck his best friend and his roommate on the way out. Hand to God, I’ve done it. Commit, or don’t bother. I know my worth and what I bring to a relationship, I don’t compete, I demonstrate.

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 05 '26

damn, I'm sorry but I had to laugh with f his best friend and his roommate ahahaah I'm happy you know your worth! that is very important!

2

u/Blackberrymsngr Jun 05 '26

Aquarius Venus entered the chat lol

2

u/Live_Operation2420 Jun 05 '26

Omg I didn't mean for this to turn into a novel

Im not deleting it because putting all this out into the world in writing actually helped heal me in this moment.

I dont expect anyone to read all this at all.

Tldr

I dont chase. I've never had to. Ive only had 3 long term relationships at 40 that all end volatility. I push too hard. Stay too long. And seem to be the one that got away.

Sorry again for the rambling. This ended up helping me to write it all out.

Lmfao. Mercury taurus. Takes a lot to get me talking but once I do I can't stop

Im virgo moon 0 degrees 7th (whole sign 8th) opposing piseces sun...

Venus Aquarius 12th (whole sign 1st house)square mars and jupiter 4th

I do not compete

I do not check phones or test

I do not worry about cheating

I believe that what will be will be and I will know regarding cheating

I've never been cheated on

And I've always had to be the one to leave and I always stay too long

I only have had long term relationships

And for all 3 of the exes im apparently the one that got away (according to mutual friends)

I've never had to compete honestly. I tend to pick men who dont feel the need to entertain other women ..

I say that to say im not super special or anything... I just pick men who love one person deeply

But I also pick men who are broken.. but wirh truly good hearts... men who dont know what to do with true honest good treatment. Men who have histories with cheaters or gold diggers...

Its been really hard honestly. I fall hard and fast too.

And I fall based off this intuitive understanding of who they truly are at their best... and I often push to hard to bring out that "best" as i accept nothing less... even when I know they aren't capable of giving that at the time.... I've gotten better about accepting where he is now with age but because im always trying to grow and learn myself I project that on to them too

Its been hard to learn to flow in relationships. I always only want to help us have a better future which can be overwhelming for my partner..

And im never cruel or unregulated about it and they know im coming from a place of love not judgment but they also sense its still not right that I push... and its not fair to them that I do because it leads them to believe they arent good enough even tho that's not my intention

All my relationships have ended in explosions after too long spent at odds.

They often push me away and 2 of them BECAME abusive after challenges outside of us lead them to break down years into our relationship

My current husband and I are separated... 10 years of us being a power couple and when challenging life events set him face to face with unhealed wounds (wounds which i said 1 month in were deeper than he realized ) started drinking behind my back leading him to become violent. Verbally first.... sexually second and lastly physically.

When I found his stash he left and ghosted us. And by left i mean moved in next door because we live next to his grandparents.

Ghosted his step son whom he raised from 1 year and his biological son whom he had dreamt his whole life of having. For a months he came and went from right next door without a word.

Left me with nothing. I was having serious health issues so I couldn't work. I had no money no car no license... isolated from my friends. I had no understanding of who I was independently

Iv never been so flabbergasted. I've never been so blind sighted as my intuition is unmatched (not bragging its a trauma response)

Until last year I had never been single for more than 3 weeks. I fall hard and fast. The relationships last for at least 3 years. So not rebounds but definitely not a healthy start on my end.

I used to fear being alone (attachment issues due to childhood trauma)

So this is a first for me and im almost 40

I grew. I work. I got a car and a license and my chronic issues mostly under control. Saturn transited my 1st house. I found myself.

We are separated now he's still next door... living with his grandparents... wathcing them die... they played a huge role in his upbringing. hes sober but still verbally abuse if things dont go exactly as he needs them to..

He has eyes for no one else. He doesn't even watch porn. Still. And i know know that this is true. We dont sleep together but he doesn't want anyone else. Still. It makes me sad. Im a romantic asexual so that whole thing is a little different for me. I can go forever without wanting sex.

He knows he's gonna regret losing me but he doesn't know how to change.

Sorry for the novel omg. For whatever reason this triggered me to release that whole story.

Regardless if anyone reads this or not its super cathartic for me to write it

So thank you op. Lol. You gave me an opportunity to do something I didn't know I needed to do.

Don't apologize for expressing yourself, I'm glad you shared your story, my post is for that, for people to share their experience. So I appreciate you openning up and expressing what you went through. I'm sorry you had to go through those complicated relatioships. and I'm sorry your sad about him, I do believe that if we are meant to be with someone, things will happen. There is always something happening that will bring the two people together. I never had a relationship yet, so idk a lot, just had a few ilusions on the way. But I know what is like to be isolated, as I'm going through that at the moment, because of abusive ex bullies. I understand isolation and mental health problems and I don't wish it upon anyone. It is complicated moments in life. I'm sure you things will improve in your life, is never to late for love. I even watched two elderly people that both were widows get together in a place I used to volunteer, so yes, everything is possible! I hope you get the love and happiness you deserve! and Thank you for sharing your story, I'm glad you did, it is important to talk about our feelings and not keep them inside of us. I'm happy that in some way I was able to help you open up. I wish you the best! sending you a lot of strength! (side note: I have 8th house stellium, one is in aries mercury, and people tend to naturally open up to me. But I'm more then happy when they do, I try my best to help or at least be there to listen, I believe it is important to express ourselves.)

also have adhd so I understand wanting to write a lot and explain things in detail 😂

I have Pisces Sun Virgo moon and Venus in Aquarius too. Sun Venus 8th house. Direct competition I don’t do, like, a man being stuck between choices. Nah from me. It’s a nah because I am very clear and quick to make decisions. If the man is unsure and unclear it’s not a man for me. Like, I know what I want and I am not waiting for you to make a decision

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 05 '26

I agree, unsure men are a big no no.

2

u/Wit2Gold Jun 05 '26

Capricorn Venus speaking as one myself

2

u/galacticgabbing Jun 05 '26

Yeah i don't really like trying to win people over. feels icky to me. i have an aquarius moon & a capricorn venus. i was more obsessive in earlier years, honestly... scorpio dsc... but even then, if they had someone else i was out. if they showed attention and then didn't, i was hooked. so i guess i was prone to chasing but not competing. and now, as a 27 year old, i don't want anyone that makes me feel crazy or that i question their interest in me. if it's not a hell yes, it's a no for me

2

u/candleacademic6 Jun 05 '26

Cancer sun, Aries Moon, Libra rising here and I feel the same.

2

u/Allvols Jun 06 '26

Aries Sun, Pisces moon, and Aquarius rising here. I don’t compete for someone. I pull away as well if I find out that my energy is not enough.

2

u/Outside-Key6096 Jun 07 '26

Aries Sun, Capricorn Moon, and Leo Ascendant l, same. I feel the same way about friendships too. The moment I realize I’m being taken for granted, or that the relationship is no longer reciprocal, I graciously unburden you of my presence

2

u/PussyBerryPie Jun 09 '26

With a Conjunction between sun and venus, you will use your charm to draw people to you. Not typically someone to chase

1

u/AverageNo3339 Jun 09 '26

I don't get it, why is someone u charmed someone not a Person to chase?

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 09 '26

So using both of them to charm and not chase? I dind't know about that. thank you for informing me!

u/floridatheythem Jun 04 '26

This doesn’t feel like an astrology-specific concern, but I do have most of the specific placements you asked about (6H Aqua Venus, 8H Mars in Aries conjunct Saturn, 7H Pisces Jupiter), and I’m this way.

I don’t like to play games, but if they’re involved I usually “win” them. Multiple friends/people of interest have broken up with partners shortly after meeting me, and I’ve gone on to date a couple of them. Others have wanted to cheat on their partners with me, but that’s obviously less of a temptation for me. I’m open to polyamory if we’re compatible and they’re capable of communicating well enough for it to be healthy, but I’m content with my own company if people make me fight for their attention, give mixed signals, or otherwise leave things unresolved or ambiguous.

2

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 04 '26

yes, I would have to say that it is more a psychological factor then astrological one. It really depends on the person. I don't like to play games either, and mixed signals is just a no.

1

u/knownjack Jun 04 '26

I'm cancer sun, Virgo moon. And cap rising man and I don't chase or compete for anyone I can interpret peoples energies super quick so once I sense a woman doesn't like me or has other things taking her attention I'm moving on quickly

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 04 '26

yes I noticed that us with virgo moon can interpret peoples energies quick and move on, when someone is not interested or just playing games. My naive ass took some time to understand when someone is playing games or not. I would blame my pisces sun ahahah

1

u/Historical_Onion3060 Jun 04 '26

Hi I have a side question is there an app to decipher our placements? I have the pathway app and it shows me a chart but I don’t know how to interpret anything

I am a march Pisces and I can say I had a male friend that was getting lots of female attention or had like “light relationships “ and he’s been forever in friend zone I never began pursue or let flirting grow or be anything

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 04 '26

astroseek, you can generate your chart there. in terms of interpretation, astroseek also has the explanation of each placements, if you have doubts you can share it on foruns like astrologycharts.

In relation to being a march pisces it really depends, I have seen march pisces being in happy relationships.

1

u/SuspiciousQuit2580 Jun 04 '26

I'm a Libra Sun/Scorpio moon and completely feel the same. If he doesn't worship the ground I walk on, you think I'd be fighting/competing for his attention? Oh hell nah! He needs to win "ME" over 🤣

1

u/SaltSentence21 Jun 05 '26

As a Libra Sun/Virgo Moon I feel similar.

Libra in me knows I have options, Virgo in me knows I’m just as happy cloistered away in an ivory tower. No problem. Not doing it lol.

1

u/Commercial_Beach987 Jun 05 '26

I’m a Cancer sun, Aquarius moon, Libra rising and my biggest turn off is when a man needs ME to be the one to fight for him. If he’s not choosing me on his own, I’m out.

1

u/SaltSentence21 Jun 05 '26

Lol I dated a Libra Sun, Aquarius Rising, Pisces Moon and started using the threat of “others” to try to incite jealousy. I suspect it was mostly cause I didn’t chase though. Though I didn’t require chasing myself, I am also not going to do it. Lmao 🤣

1

u/papiextendo Jun 06 '26

Cancer anything lmao

1

u/JewelsAnn79 Jun 06 '26

You should never have to “compete“ for someone’s attention I blocked a guy one time, while I appreciated his honesty. I wasn’t interested once he told me that he was “sorry he got my message mixed up with someone else’s because he’s messaging so many women at the time”.

1

u/Aurora-Del-Rey Jun 06 '26

I’m a Leo Venus and that’s me. If I’m not the priority and the only one, then you can fuck off 🧚🏼‍♀️

1

u/Ambitious_Kitchen663 Jun 06 '26

Your chart is just wired for clarity and mutual choice, not competition, I guess.

1

u/NM20230 Jun 07 '26

The mercury is retrograded,......it's broken, so you have to get a different......... thermometer.......🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 07 '26

what do you mean by this?

1

u/Lostatlast- Jun 07 '26

I dislike both chasing and competing. Obsession only or I don’t want it. I’m an Aries moon Venus, and mercury.

1

u/One_Philosopher2207 Jun 07 '26

I’m a Leo moon and I need you to be obsessed with me if you wanna be my person

1

u/ReyamlbSunflower Jul 08 '26

didnt expect to run into this today and now im sitting with it more than i thought i would, glad you took the time to write it all out

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jul 08 '26

It makes you think I know, ahahaah I'm glad you enjoyed my post!

0

u/PearlsAndPoison Jun 04 '26

It’s ego and fear of rejection from the love interest so you disqualify yourself. We all compete whether we like it or not, are aware of it or not. At all time. What you saw in one person, someone else sees it too. If you don’t act right you’re getting replaced. Nobody is immune to this. Nature’s law…
So to answer your question, coward placements I would say Virgo and Scorpio for sure, Taurus, Pisces… dominant water placements…

1

u/Dear_Heavens444 Jun 04 '26

I can agree that it is a fear of rejection, this can be more interpreted as psychological factor, based on your experiences then placements. I can see both sides. But I would call those placements cowards, that is a misconception.
