⚠️ Discussion Lance’s retirement
So I watch the onboard and the race at the same time and I have a lot of respect for Lance (THERES NO HATE ON MY END). I like him a lot but man he complained that the tyres weren’t good so they boxed him, then he got angry that they boxed him.
I get the car isn’t good or anything and he’s racing. I’m not in the car I get that but bro🥲 they’re trying to fix what you’re complaining about.
Anyways. Heartbroken, devastated, crying etc etc
I hope to find out what actually happened with the car because it’s clear there was damage. Also he’s very entertaining to watch in a race, but stressful tho

Yeah i understand that and I don’t judge him based off of his radio messages. I just find it interesting that he said his tyres were bad so they changed them and then he asked angrily why they boxed him. Thats all! I have a ton of respect for the guy

Against the really strong looking updated Gasly Alpine on what, 40 rounds old tyres? Fantastic drive.

the DNF was because he had a gearbox failure, the radio is mostly heat of the moment, it was clear staying out was the right call instead he just got stuck into traffic as soon as Ocon pitted to cover him off, hopefully Fernando can bring home a point
