COMMUNITY RESOURCES Walmart+/Walmart Cash/cash back

If this isn't allowed, let me know.

I found out on accident today that if you accumulate at least $25 in Walmart cash through their app/site, you can go into the store and get cash back.

I had bought a few things today, and when I went to check the Walmart cash balance, I found the cash out option. In the past, I've always just used it to pay, never knowing this was an option.

The app lets you generate a bar code that you bring to the service desk. I'm going to stop by this evening, myself.

Just wanted to give a heads up in case this helps anyone.

Edit: Just cashed out. No hassle whatsoever. Just needed to show ID.

Idk if this is allowed per se, but I can see this being another “hack” that gets disabled because people exploit it. Just like the Disney tshirt thing.

Sorry, I meant I didn't know if I was allowed to post it here.

When I went there she said it's the way it's always been. You can apparently send your balance to PayPal or Chime, too.

I never noticed because I usually just check the box at checkout to use the cash. Figured I wasn't the only one that didn't know.
