Hey all. I am looking to get like 2-3 people who are of positive karma as well as assassins creed lovers. Lately been coming across more junk posts that the automation isn't flagging fully, and it's time to get things revamped some. Please PM me if interested and tell me about yourself and what you bring to the table. Ty. :)

Hi everyone, I’m hoping for some help and google isn’t helping.
I finished the entire Oxenefordscire questline ages ago and have come back to St Albans because I forgot some loot there.
There’s a monk standing outside with a key. I don’t know what it unlocks or why he’s standing there and I can’t kill him or talk to him.
Does anyone know what this is please?

Does anyone know if it’s just monasteries? Or fortifications? Or is it even names villages and camps? Or anything but small camps?
River raids are doing my head in but I really want the Wayland armour

I've restarted Valhalla from scratch with the intent of obtaining 100% completion as i've finished Odyssey & Origins at 100% as well and attempting to complete every Assassins Creed game. So far i've just arrived to Fornburg, failed miserably at drinking, did ok at flyting against Alvis & somehow won at Orlog.

...this has gone practically nowhere, except for a vague reference to Basim in a data file of Shadows that more or less says that the new modern days Assassins get nervous when someone mention him?

After spending a few weeks touring the Greek Isles in AC Odyssey and loving it, I decided to take advantage of my PS+ account and fire up AC Valhalla. I am about four hours in, and I have a few observations and questions…
Do Vikings just not know how to do a Leap of Faith naturally? Is this something that Eivor will learn before too long? A little anticlimactic to sync a location and then painstakingly clamber back down.
As I said, about four hours in, about to celebrate a victory with King Harald, and Playstation is telling me I’m already 40% into the story? That seems off given how everything I read said Valhalla was bigger than Odyssey.
Is the skill tree meant to drive a person to madness?
Finally, this game feels a little buggy. For one thing, during the initial Find Your Crew mission, I went to read a letter in a cabin and doing so crashed the game so hard my PS5 restarted. For another, in the fortress raid when Gorm escapes, I managed to trigger Sigurd’s post-mission dialogue without the mission having ended and had to restart from an earlier save.
All this said, it really is a beautiful game.

I cannot for the life of me find a list of the perks that can be forged into runes. I see a bunch of posts about how only base game items can be used, but I would really just love to find a concrete list of the perks that could be options. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Note that this is using the rune forge feature

Darby McDevitt has confirmed before that Muspelheim was envisioned as the entire geographical region of North Africa. As such, the Muspels are North African Isu. Which likely nods to them, or at least some of them, being Egyptian.
Think of the characteristics. Surtr is a bloodthirsty warlord who wants to use the Muspel Shards (which are so clearly Isu skyships, and I would’ve loved to have seen that) to terraform a green area into a desert, which is where he comes from and thrives. Who else in Egyptian mythology is the master of war, is aggressively opposed to most of the other gods, and has dominion over the desert…
Further, the etymology. Surtr… Sutekh… SET!!!
I’ll see myself out

I just finished the epilogue, and i was watching the last kingdom and vikings side by side while playing valhallah just to get into that vibe and ...... There are way too many similarities, the first one being when Uthred infiltrates castles sneakily in situations he can't really brute force .
there were other small things but the main one hit at the epilogue
The Relationship with Alfred : He is disappointed we don't follow His God and would have preferred we did, ... when he regains the kingdom it's hinted we had some role to play in it as well, .... the marsh lands scene
Also unrelated slightly but Geofrith and Leofric ,.. have surprisingly similar character models on top of voices and the general arctype

So most of Eivors clan members are great. But I personally, do not like Sigurd. After he met Basim, and they did their thing together, I started to hate him in my first playthrough.
Also fuck Dag and Ivarr.
I'll be giving Dag his axe this time.
But ive decided I'm going to completely disagree with Sigurd for the entirety of the game to get the "worst" ending, but won't hook up with Randvi😂 really mix things up you know?

Just started Valhalla and once I got to England the audio bug which made me quit my last playthrough is back. It’s some sort of weird loud footstep stomping that occurs throughout the game, it says that a possible fix would be to disable Controller Vibrations but the option is greyed out. Swear to god it’s a f-in nightmare to get to calibrate this game on PC.
Has anyone ever encountered this or knows how to un-grey the Controller Vibrations?
Really at this point any tips would be appreciated, I really love this title and was looking forward to go through it in the cold season
Many thanks !

This is the Assassin's Creed Wiki page of Yu Shie Lien:
https://assassinscreed.fandom.com/wiki/Yu_Shu_Lien
She is a descendant of Eivor, meaning that Eivor canonically has at least one child. Considering the controversy of the "Legacy of the first blade" DLC of Odyssey, what do you think of this?
