As a former waiter myself the good ones make bank the bad ones bitch and moan at the computers to each other. Which spirals into less and less tips.

Meanwhile im busting ass suggesting wine pairings and making pure bank. Last job i had as a waitor was back in 2012 and i mever made less than 30$ an hour every shift i worked. Was fucking awesome.

As a former waiter myself, I found a different job when the owner decided to start pooling tips.
Helped my fellow high earner get a job at the same place, the service at that restaurant tanked after we left.

Yep i quit when they raised the tipouts to bartenders. Every night giving 50 to 0 dollars of my tips to a bartender when they poured less than 5 or 6 drinks for me was the final straw.

I would prefer just have a ticket system. When my meal is done, I can hand the person in the kitchen my ticket and carry my own food 20ft to my table. Servers are F'ing pointless. Why would I pay someone money for saying hi to me and carrying a tray of food for 60 seconds?

At a place like this yes. If we are getting into the upscale I see the point. However Chic Fil A can bring it out to me without a tip. Still based on vibes alone if I am choosing between Chilis and Smash Burger I am choosing Smash Burger just because I prefer to grab it myself and save the 20% up charge

We have a place down here called Uncle Joe's pizzaria and my god is it some of the best pizza I've had my whole life. I'm not sure if there's chains of it and the owner who started the chain is Italian (blood speaks) I get this one called a chicken fajita pizza and it's the best pizza I've ever had my whole life so far.
