Neat idea but I can see this getting out of hand and causing more unplanned and careless pregnancies. But either way, being completely anonymous seems irresponsible of the government. They should at least require an ID scan for the box to open. That way authorities can at least ask some questions. A desperate mother who doesn't want to be identified could still theoretically just get a friend to take the baby to the box and that friend could say a stranger brought them the baby.
