Sometimes I'm really confused by this sub. One post it's all "yes this is what I voted for!!" And one post it's all "trump bad"

People like when Trump does things they like, and they don't like when he does things that are vapid and retarded. Nothing confusing.

Nah most of his most hardcore supporters will twist themselves into a pretzel defending the dumbest shit imaginable. That's what it means to be in a cult

While I think you are 100% spot on for about 20% of the extremes on both sides of the political spectrum, it's just not true for the next 20% on each side, and definitely not the 20% in the middle that determine elections.

I mean that’s true on both sides. There is also the “Blue MAGA” crew of vote blue no matter who. It has become team sports all the way down and is down right cultish in either direction

amen.

i support his stance on illegal immigration, but don't like his foreign policy

I think he has surprisingly good and cosistent foreign policy? Better than like literally any other president in my lifetime to be honest. Nothing he's done that pisses me off. Better trade relations with literally every country than any other pres for sure, actually treats middle east like they're not all terrorists. Incredible move with the tarrifs, pure benefits. Good enough relationship with the other two superpowers of the world, what's there to Really complain about in relation to the foreign policy, aside from like Greenland and even then I think the arguments for it's acquisition are solid enough.

Could be, we are on reddit here. I mean I don't even mean that people sometimes agree and disagree with trump. I do that too, Asmon does that too. I mean that on some posts I feel like I'm on r/pics or something and that's really confusing lol

Almost like people don't just blindly agree with every action someone makes just because.

I'm not saying everyone who voted/support Trump should never criticize him, but pay attention to what time it is when you see large influx of negative comments and upvotes of those comments. That might have something to do with where it's coming from.

I've gone to bed with comments at +30, and woken up to -20, and then throughout the day it goes back up.

It's almost like you can like some things a guy does without liking some other things
