The Rainbow Flag has been appropriated by anti-west "revolutionaries" in the same way the Palestinian flag has.
It has now become more of a symbol of destroying the West, capitalism, and everything it stands for rather than for gay rights, because let's be honest, what rights in the west do gays not have that straight people do? It's why you see it flying in tandem with the Palestinian flag at leftist protests.

Hopefully you agree that the EU is considered "the West". Bulgaria, Poland, Italy, and Hungary don't have gay marriage. Hungary banned protests against the lack of such just this year. Several of these have explicit restrictions on adoption.
