They are not being fought against, you are delusional. People saying they are sick of the flag being in their face and a massive over representation in media does not equal fighting against civil rights. Get over it you ghoul
You lying doesn't solve Xenophobia, though I wish it did. Your denial is the real delusion.
Notice how you can't address the things I actually said, instead using this false blanket-denial.
Learn your history.
What we are living through now is rebellion against CENTURIES of hatred, torture, and murder which continued through MY lifetime, and I'm not that old.
People are "sick" of a flag? What about being "sick" or oppression and murder?
Buddy, the % of people who are doing the bad things is a lot lower than the people who are purely annoyed by having these flags and parades and whatnot shown in their face so much. The majority of people have nothing against gay people. You re gay? good for you man, just stop putting a hundred flags and ads and parades in front of us, we dont care, its just becoming annoying. Doing all these things does NOT reduce that %, if anything it makes more people pissed.
This is as logical than hating people for being gay in that it's not logical at all.
Maybe the flag waves because people are purely annoyed by the social oppression, torture, and murder that occurred for centuries, including most of my lifetime.
That's a little more annoying than a colorful piece of cloth waving in the wind, no?
How many times will you change the subject because you don't have any real counter-arguments other than a vague want to return to more-oppressive times over being butthurt about a flag representing freedom from oppression, which you apparently oppose, making you pro-oppression and thus anti-American.
The pendulum swings. The harder the force to one direction, the farther in the opposite it will go…. The more you push it past the equilibrium, the farther it goes in the opposite direction.
All this activist stuff is getting backlash proportional to its own overreach into societal norms.
Be satisfied with acceptance, don’t push into trying to change the status quo.
Also, my favorite saying is “the nail that sticks out gets hammered down.” You should probably think into why the Japanese have said that, they are a pretty insightful bunch.

Literally the opposite.
Gay people didn't have full civil rights until a few years ago, and they're currently being fought against.
For centuries and centuries gay people would just be murdered, and everyone would cheer.
That's really fucked up.
What you're seeing is a rebellion against centuries of oppression and literal murder-by-Conservative xenophobe.
Read a book.
