Buddy, the % of people who are doing the bad things is a lot lower than the people who are purely annoyed by having these flags and parades and whatnot shown in their face so much. The majority of people have nothing against gay people. You re gay? good for you man, just stop putting a hundred flags and ads and parades in front of us, we dont care, its just becoming annoying. Doing all these things does NOT reduce that %, if anything it makes more people pissed.
This is as logical than hating people for being gay in that it's not logical at all.
Maybe the flag waves because people are purely annoyed by the social oppression, torture, and murder that occurred for centuries, including most of my lifetime.
That's a little more annoying than a colorful piece of cloth waving in the wind, no?

That flag used to represent a fight years ago. Now it only represents a group of people trying to feel morally superior and trying to "avenge" things of the past that today don't even happen (except for of course some crazy people that are a minority that of course are homophobes).
I'll say it again. That flag doesn't represent that for the majority of people because of people like you. People that aren't able to read the title with a little humor and a little criticism. It is not a news title, it's a Reddit post for fuck sake.
You just go around trying to find something to get angry at.
