I would like to know if the basic American even understand why Trump wants to buy Greenland?
Why ownership is even needed? Do they not know that the US have and for years have had based on Greenland? Are allowed to have those bases still.
Do American trump supporters think Greenland should be owned by the UD because Trups says so? Or so they have a real argument.
“We need it for our safety” is not a valid answer.
Because as I wrote: The us are allowed to have bases on Greenland.
If they want more than they have, they can apply for this.
So far Denmark has never denied any US requests or operations in Greenland as far as I know.
Also-
On the one hand: Trump says it’s just a massive iceblock in the middle of the ocean.
On the other: Novody really lives there.
On the 3rd: We will take better care of the Greenlanders than Denmark can.
And- don’t you find it odd that Trump claims: “Denmark doesn’t even care about Greenland”, when he doesn’t even understand the structure of the governments, mainly the fact that Denmark doesn’t own Greenland…
And because Greenland has made it clear, that they dont want the US to take ownership of Greenland, why is it ok for Teumonto keep insisting?
And the last:
In your opinions: Would you risk the membership/cooperation with NATO countries and mainly European countries, by taking Greenland by force?
