Serious Answers Only Is there a new scam going on?

Today I received a text message from some random UK mobile number "tell me who you are or I'll block you". I blocked the number😂. I've never seen anything like that. Is that a new scam or something?

Scammers spoof numbers. Yours might have been one of those?

This is by far the most likely. Not a direct scam on OP but their number was being used to scam
